I count 8 black quarterbacks that will be starting this week. Seneca Wallace and Convick are only starting because of injuries and Dixon is starting because of a suspension. Dixon either got injured or was removed from the game because he was playing so bad. Charlie Batch comes in to the rescue. He's 5 for 11 for 25 yards. LOL!! Mike Tomlin sure loves his affletes.

Dumb Bears! They've thrown 21 times so far, and Olsen has only been the target of 1 of them. He caught it for a 39 yard TD. Hillis is now the leading runner for the Browns on the day. It has been a long time since two White RBs ended up being the leading rushers for their teams in the NFL. I hope it happens today!

Yes but Harrison was complaining about his lack of carries. Last week I believe Hillis got the same amount of carries as Harrison. This week Harrison gets 16 so far. When an afflete complains the white coach has to appease him.

I know Harrison was complaining. Despite that, Hillis is out-gaining him.

Did anyone see Brian Leonard on the field today? I thought he was healed up. No stats from him today and I wasn't able to watch the game.

Does anyone know the rule in regards to how many carries a white running back can have in a game? I'm thinking it's 10.

Poor Brett Favre. He came back to a team with three terrible sumos on the line, a TE that occasionaly gets open but has hands of stone, and a recieving core that resembles several J.J. Walkers but is no where near Dynomite. Shiancoe dropped two cans of corn today - one on the goal line that bounced off his stone hands and was intercepted and another on the last series of downs. Berrian was just god-awful. I only saw Greg Carmillo on the field during punt returns - surely I must have missed his presence??? Brad Childress is a complete idiot. he tried four straight running plays inside the ten yard line. You can't completely lose all confidence in your HOF quarterback.

I was watching all the games at a sports bar, so I had no announcers. When Hillis scored a TD on a spectacular run, I naturally thought we'd finally get to see a lot more. Hillis was completely out for the next three series at the very least (except for the play-action TD pass). I figured he got injured - go figure. You have to pin that loss on the coach. He could have ended the game with power runner with the lead and chose instead to appease his affroletes.

Gerhart looked good with the few touches he got. The best run I believe erased because of penalty on the defense, but it's the best he has looked this year. He absolutely leveled some defender. Edited by: Kaptain Poop

Wes Welker just caught a TD pass. When almost 40 Joey Galloway can burn the defense for a 62 yards gain you know the league is full of clowns.

do you remember how far Gerhart ran on that one that was called back because of the penalty? I wasn't watching but I thought I heard the announcers say 19 yards, but it doesn't make sense to accept the penalty and get 1st and 5 if he gained 19 yards, so I must have misheard.

Welker just scored a TD! Picking up where he left off last year prior to the injury. I hope Woodhead gets some plays, but doubt due to him getting there a couple of days ago.

I want the Jets to lose every game behind the bucs and steelers. AHIW is in typical form. Three picks and being benched. Now, we will see next week as the castesystem attempts to justify conVick starting. The war goes on!

These faux "Supermen" are getting exposed left-and-right.. and more and more White people are taking notes.

In a couple of weeks, I expect to see a lot more empty seats. It's not surprising that home-openers usually sell-out, so that's not exactly a barometer. Carolina fans, for instance, will abandon the awful "product."

I think that is about right, unless the white runningback is the only option after several affletes have been injured, like when Hillis was with the Broncos, even thenit took themseveral games to give him more than 10 carries, the first game he got 8 and the second he had 10, finally the 3rd game he started he had 17 carries and then 22 the next.

I wish Hillis would have gotten more carries today, he would probably have had one of the best rushing performances of all of the backs this week. When they were showing highlights of the games played today and then the stats, the rushing performances looked pretty weak by most backs, quite a few guys getting a bunch of carries only to average around 3 ypc. Even Chris Johnson (supposedly the league's best back) averaged 2 ypc on 16 carries. Maybe the dwfs will shut up about Harrison getting more carries and the coaches will decide to give Hillis more.Edited by: snow

Hillis should have gotten 16 carries and Harrison 7. Not the other way around. Hopefully his carries will go up..

Tennessee and Pittsburgh was a joke of a game. Vince Young couldn't do anything and neither could Dennis Dixon or Charlie Batch. Collins came in and played solid.

David Garrard has thrown 3 picks already! I loathe the blackening of San Diego, but I'm clearly pulling for Philip Rivers over Garrard.

Washington is smacking Houston and I don't really care, as Houston started 3 blacks on the O-line and a coal-patrol at linebacker.

Kolb is so screwed.

Vick played decently against a dreadful Lions defense. I watched a good chunk of the game and Vick was able to hit receivers that were wide open, when covered he had more trouble.

All through the game the announcers were saying that when Kolb is healthy he is the starter, no question, even Vick agrees to that. Riiiight! We'll see about that. Wait until Kolb plays a tough defense. The fans will be howling for Vick.

Also note that "all is forgiven" as concerns Vicks' transgressions. Unlike Roethlisberger and Matt Jones who will have to spend the rest of their life being identified by their mistake, it appears that the media of america have forgotten all about Vicks horrid crimes.
