Well, Fred Taylor is back, we'll see if that will affect Danny's touches or will he simply cut into BenJarvis' snaps.

Danny Woodhead is so fun to watch. The guy makes people miss all the time. The Lions are playing very good defense but it's only a matter of time till Danny breaks a big one. The guy can cut on a dime. So fast and so athletic. He can change directions and he has the burst to make it work. He goes from a dead stop to top speed in a hurry.

Watched the first half at my Grandmother's, I'm getting damned disappointed with the Patriots and the lack of carries that Danny Woodhead is receiving no matter how brilliantly he performs. It really sucks how many times great plays by Woodhead get called back as well like the cutback that was called on Manckins, it had no effect on the Woodhead's 10+ yard 3rd down play.

Smith lets Ben-Jarvus run over him for a TD, lets Wes burn him for a TD and then completely blows coverage on Branch for a TD - yet there are no coaches willing to take a chance on a white CB. I can't guarantee a white CB would have stopped the first two TDs, but I can guarantee he wouldn't have completely blown coverage on that Branch TD.

Danny is a joy to watch. The only thing he needs to work on is when to try to make a guy miss and when to plow forward for a few extra yards. On that one play he tried to make a defender miss, got tackled behind the first down marker. I know he is a scat back but he has the power to do it. but other than that the guy is great, barry sanders like, without all of the negative yardage plays. Not really that big of a deal but I am wondering if he changed it up just a bit if it would be much harder for Bellicheck to limit his touches. I have seen him run with the straight ahead style that Green-Ellis has in preseason against teams like the Ravens, the guy can really do it all but we only get to see a glimpse because of his limited touches. He can break off a big run at any given time, but it is less likely to happen when you get 6 or 7 touches a game. Not saying Green-Ellis isn't good but Danny just has more talent. Green-Ellis could be the short yardage/goal line back/run out the clock back. Edit: he just proved me wrong and plowed forward for 7 yards.

I know everyone thinks Bellicheck is dead set on a runningback by committee, but he has did say once he would be willing to give one back the majority of the carries.

Welker has been getting better since Moss left. Avging 11 yards per catch the past two games, and close to 11 this game. If he keeps it up he may just have another 100 catch season. Currently on pace for 91, but it would be nice to go 4 consecutive years. The crazy thing is, I still don't think he is a 100 percent confident in that knee just yet with his yac, its just a mental thing, so to still be performing at this level is amazing.

well so far touches are more or less fair, 9 to 7, and i am sure Danny will get more.

Wes is playing well, so is Gronk.

Welker now has more TDs this year than the 2007 season where the Patriots set the league on fire. Man, Wes really misses Moss.

With Vandenbosch out, the Lions defense is coal-black. How on earth are all of those slow, plodding unathletic white guys on the Patriots offense scoring touchdowns?

Yet the "pundits" keep mentioning how he's suffering without Moss while mentioning his week 1 performance, even though the other 3 games with Moss he had minimal stats. And they never mention his injury.

The Zulus on the Lions are unhappy about losing to the Patriots. One put a late hit on Brady that upset the Pats O-linemen and after they kicked the extra point a bunch of Zulus got really upset and ended up with two roughness penalties.

It's great seeing the black Lions go into total meltdown against the evil almost-all-white Patriots offense!

Great game by Wes Welker, there's still 3 minutes left but I think that's all she wrote. So Welker now has 65 receptions on the year, and needs to average 7 catches a game to attain a momentous 4th straight 100 reception season.

Through 11 games Welker has 65 receptions, 592 yards and 6 TDs. He needs to average 7 catches to reach 100, and 81.6 ypg to reach 1000.

I've lost count of the dropped passes by the affletes. I only remember one drop by a New England afflete, but the Lions have dropped A LOT of perfectly-thrown balls. And it's lookedat as "normal" by the announcers. Says a lot about the "talent level" of the NFL. I don't think a SINGLE BALL was dropped by any of the Patriots white receivers.

After years and years of being told that they're bigger, faster and stronger than white guys it must be difficult to have 5 white guys keep you from being able to get to the other teams QB and having a white running back you can't tackle and a white receiver you can't keep from scoring TDs. Can't blame them for getting upset. 45 points at home? Ouch.Edited by: Patrick

it wound up ending with about the same ratio, 12 to Danny's 10. I was just hoping for another big play on national television back to back weeks. Of course this is more likely to happen with more touches, but can't always get what you want, glad Welker had a great day, and Woodhead still had a decent day with a respectable 4 ypc on 8 carries. 45 total yards from scrimmage. He is on pace for around 800 yards from scrimmage. Hopefully he has a monster game against the Jets next week so he can get closer to 1k from scrimmage, Welker has had some of his biggest games against his former team the Dolphins

P.S. -- I think Suh is roid-raging, and he's been doing it all season. To me, he definitely looks bigger now than when he was at Nebraska.

I think the kicker David Buehler would do better than some of the dbs in the Dallas secondary. Sucks he is stuck at kicker with his athleticism and size. 6'2, 220 pounds, 4.5 speed, Malcom Jenkins on the other side for the Saints is a safety/cb with almost identical measurables, but weighs less
