Gronkowski is another excellent white tight end that has the potential to be a star in the NFL. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be better than Shockey.

Cody Grimm was just added to the combine list as a linebacker.

Awesome, I have been mentioning this guy for a while. He should have been playing safety his entiere college career which is what he is projected at the next level, well SS, but I think he could be a FS.

Hopefully he can get down to the 4.4 range at the combine. He last ran a 4.57 which is what CORNERBACK Malcolm Jenkins from OSU ran last year and was drafted in the first round, as a CORNER.

Last year Cody has an excellent shuttle time (4.02) his ten yard split was (1.64) and his vertical was 37"

Teammate Danny Coale (WR) posted a 4.43 40 that workout.

These aren't hand times either, an engineering major took the video and did something to where he could time it electronically from exact start to exact finish. He was upset about VT being an engineering school and not doing the 40 yard dash electronically even when the hand times are much different from when they go electronically at the combine.Edited by: dwid

No surprise here but Draftcountdown has Toby Gerhart listed as their number 1 fullback. Yes they have him playing fullback in the NFL a position he has never played despite the fact that he was the most dominant running back in all of college football this past season.

Do they list any other top RB as FB or is Gerhart an exception for some reason?

Its funny whiteathlete, Dwyer is listed as the exact same size AND weight on ESPN, exact! Yet, no one would DARE suggest Dwyer move to FB! I mean, are we crazy! It would be such a waste of talent(in case u missed it, thats sarcasm)!!

I think its VERY important to post last years combine times. I find myself arguing with Youtubers, people who comment on ESPN, etc., who constantly state something along the lines of "If Toby wants to be an NFL halfback(vs fullback) he better run a sub-4.4 40!!" It just makes me crazy!! Here are the 40 times of last years rookie RBs(link below for reference).

Fastest time: Cedric Peerman 4.45 Second Fastest: Ian Johnson 4.46
Median time: 4.6 (Javon Ringer, Beanie Wells, et al)
Slowest time but still on an NFL roster:(but Im sure was never asked to play FB since he has melanin) Kahlil Bell 4.78(!?)
Other notables: Donald Brown 4.51, Bernard Scott 4.56, (the fast n elusive) kNOSHOWn Moreno 4.62, (the noone would ask him to move to FB but if Toby runs as "slow" as he does, everyone will think Toby should) Shonn Greene 4.65...In fact, the fastest 40 time by a CB was 4.46!

FACT: If Toby runs a 4.59-4.65 40 (same speed as Wells, Moreno, Greene) The DWFs, draft "experts," pundits, etc. will say something like "He is waaaaaaytoo slow to play HB in the NFL. He projects as a FB!!' The lies the DWFs believe

If Toby were to switch position he would be a better TE. Playing him at FB would be a complete waste...

DWF's and "experts" all believe (few admit) that black's are faster NO matter what the 40 times say. It's just like the "smooth" hips and "swivel" heads that the "experts" only see in blacks and there's nothing a White player can ever do to possess either of those imaginary skills. Emmit Smith ran a 4.8 40 and is the All-Time rushing leader and Mike Alstott ran a 4.6 40 but was never fast enough to start at RB in the NFL in spite of the success he had whenever he got the ball.

Toby runs in the 4.4-4.5 range which is faster than the average NFL RB and he has every intangible too be a successful NFL RB. If he were black there wouldn't even be a question about this.
