Your right Parody, 2009 will go down as great year for white fighters as well as making in roads into the lighter weights below middleweight.

CF special recognition should go to Pacman for his consument sportsmanship and bad ass fighting skill. And a hope that he smashes Mayflower in 2010!!!

I agree.

I'll be rooting for Manny on March 13!

Jimmy from middlweight up we have 13 titles out of 20 so it's 65 percent of belts held. I didn't do the math in the lighter divisions but as you can see we picked up a few more at light middle and welterweight. We have very few white champions in the lightest divisions but that's expected because honestly how many whites do you see that weigh 110-130lbs.

Whites have 30 titles in total in all the weight divisions (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, and Ring).

4 of 5 at HW
3 of 4 at CW, one vacant
1 of 4 at LHW, one vacant
3 of 4 at SMW, one vacant
5 of 5 at MW, plus an interim
3 of 4 at LMW, one vacant

So in the more natural weight divisions for white men, 154 to heavyweight, whites have 20 out of a possible 27 titles, with 4 vacant.

A couple of disappointing fights did take place for white fighters though. Valuev was robbed in Germany of all places so that we could have a bruva as one of the heavyweight champions in David Haye or David Gaye as I like to call him. Gaye landed a whopping 3 punches per round maybe and was awarded the title on skin color alone. Actually Gaye is a mulatto but he shows his TNB constantly and is the biggest piece of trash in boxing. Kessler lost to afrolete Andre Ward and Adrian Diaconu lost to afflete Jean Pascal twice. I expect Kessler to come back strong in the Super Six and possibly win it. Abraham is the other favorite to win the Super Six.

Well Tomasz is Ring champion but doesn't actually have a belt anymore because he moved up to heavy.
Tomasz has until July to defend his Ring title. He said he may come back down to cruiserweight, if there's an opportunity for a televised fight.

Adamek receives Ring belt

I think Adamek's promoter should arrange a fight in Europe against a top cruiserweight like Guillermo Jones or Marco Huck. He's too small for heavyweight.

I don't want Adamek to continue at heavyweight as well. I think he will make quick work of Estrada in February though.

You might as well include Angulo on the list who looks as White as Soto. Plus he is a more exciting fighter...

Yes, Angulo does look Spanish. They are BOTH exciting fighters, though - you should see Soto's first fight against Lorenzo.

I think Lucian Bute made one of the biggest statements this year with his spectacular knock out Andrade!

Kessler was the biggest disappointment of this year's white fighters. He didn't seem himself against Andre Ward. Hopefully, he bounces back in 2010.

Valuev...did not expect him to win against David Gaye by decision. The only way for him to win that fight was by TKO, which is unlikely for a boxer like Valuev. Good for him in retiring, it's time for him to enjoy his family, his earnings, and his life. Best of Luck to Valuev.

Pavlik had a very tough year, and it's likely he's been sick for much of the year. Fortunately, he ends 2009 on a high-note, and should make some serious noise in 2010.

Wladimir Klitschko has been virtually missing due to a shoulder injury. He should make up for lost time in 2010.

WA 33 not counting, just commenting. WA 33 there is a small percentage of Mexicans who are of sole Spanish blood, thus European. In the case of Angulo, he could have up to 25% of indegious blood. In the case of Soto maybe the same thing, but he has the classic Spaniard features, Long skull, and long straight nose.

Parody why are we counting Mexicans as white champions?

When I look at Chris Arreola I see an Indian, and that's what I see when I look at Julio Ceasar Chavez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Victor Ortiz, and Daniel Ponce de Leon.

But when I look at Humberto Soto or Robert Guerrero I see a Spaniard.

Saul Alverez is lighter than I am, he appears very Celtic with very pale skin, light red hair and blue eyes. Celtic people settled in a large area of northern Spain in the 1st millenium BC.

Julio Cesar Chavez looked white to me when I first saw him.

Then again, maybe not. But, he looks whiter than most Mexicans

Parody during the time around the Battle for the Alamo, alot of Irish were having alot of sand not to mention other things kicked in their faces. They got pissed and settled in Mexico. Subsequently, alot of mixing of the peoples, indigious people, Spaniards and Irish. I see some Mexicans white as snow with blue or green eyes. One great fighter who fit this description was Danny "Little Red" Lopez, who was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame.

If Saul Alvarez isn't White who is? Yes he is probably of Celtic blood. Mexico had many White ethnics settle there in the 19th century because of bad anti-Catholic discrimination in the US, Puerto Rico had a similar migration pattern because of this reason. JCC SR always seemed Mestizo to me and looked about 3/4's White /14 Indian. His son is White to me as his mother was White model with blond hair who did tv/billboard ads in Mexico.

Saul Alvarez is definitely about as white/European/Celtic as you can get and Robert Guerrero is either a very deceptively light Castizo with very persistent European genetics or is for all intensive purposes a Spaniard living in Mexico. Either way, he possesses enough White/European genetics to be considered a White man who could produce White children. It will be a sad day though if we ever have to accept guys like Soto as being our racial brethren. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a Mestizo. Of course the biggest thing is though, is do these guys see see themselves as whites of the diaspora or do they see themselves as just another Mexican who dislike all "Gringos" like a lot of the light Mexicans seem to do.

Bear Backer Robert Guerrero is a American and lives in Ca. I don't think Mexican fighters dislike Gringos. But if they are a Mexican National they will plege alligence to Mexico.

In Mexico and especially Mexico City the ruling class are White Spaniards who attempted to keep their blood pure by never mixing with the indegious people. Look at all the Presidents of Mexico over the last 25 years. All Spaniards, thus European.

Regarding Soto, what you said about Robert I think should apply to Soto. Just my opinion. Soto probably a Mestizo, but at least its not "affeletic" blood running through his viens. LOL
