I remember Luke Ridnour being a stud with the Oregon Ducks, a first round NBA pick. Why's he riding the pine behind Jennings? It's not like Jennings tore up the Italian league, from his stats, it looks like he was terrible:
In the Italian Lega A 2008-09 season, Jennings averaged in 27 games, 5.5 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals in 17.0 minutes per game. He shot 35.1 percent from the field and 20.7 percent from 3 point range in Lega A play. In 16Euroleage games, Jennings averaged 7.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in 19.6 minutes per game. In the Euroleague he shot 38.7 percent from the field and 26.8 percent from 3 point range

I think Oden was playing better, but it's amazing to me how UNCOORDINATED/AWKWARD he is!

He has NOTHING on Gortat or Pau, etc.

FootballDad it's pretty much the same situation in Chicago with Kirk Hinrich. He has had his minutes cut into for afrolete Derrick Rose. I think Hinrich is a better guard than Rose. According to scouts Rose is an incredible afflete so who can argue with that.

I'm not really up on Hinrich's game, so my comments on him would be hot air, but I remember Rose at Memphis, he was an excellent player, although he was a bit too much of a solo artist, which is tough to maintain in the NBA.

Hinrich certainly deserves to be a starting point guard in the NBA whether he is better than Rose or not.

Yea, I won't rip on Rose and say Hinrich is better but Hinrich has been screwed in Chicago. He should either be starting along side Rose or traded to a team that will give him a starting gig.

It's time to get my NBA juices flowing again!!!

It's season's greetings in the NBA today, and so many outstanding performances by the NBA's minority today. Beno Udrih and Luke Ridnour continue to play magnificent despite limited playing time:

Beno Udrih - 16 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal
Luke Ridnour - 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal

Both help their teams to outstanding wins, Kings 120-100 vs. T'Wolves, and Bucks 108-101 2OT vs. Blazers. Andrew Bogut had his BEST game of the season:

27 points (12-19 FG's, 3-4 FT's)
9 rebounds
3 assists
2 blocks

Mike Dunleavy is finally putting all doubts to rest (his knee problems), as he just had his best game of the season thus far, to go with an amazing and winning clutch performance vs. Washington:

The Bucks and the Pacers are so fun to watch. It will get even better very soon. Jumping Joe shall return. I love watching Mike Dunleavy Jr on the basketball court. He plays the game like Mike Miller used to. Indy has it going good in both football and basketball. It would be a fun place to live and be a sports fan.

Glad to see Bogut and Ridnour tearing it up. I was impressed with Illyasova tonight as well in the little bit of the game that I was able to see. He is very athletic and he can create off the dribble.

I read in my local paper that Darko Milicic may play basketball professionally in Europe. He thought he would have a role in D'Antoni's plans but apparently has been inactive for many games this season. I thought D'Antoni would be Darko's best chance to resurrect his career but that hasn't happened.

Beno Udrih... start him or not, he'll always deliver night in, night out. Looks like the leash has been taken of him. He's been playing solid basketball in the last several games, with today being his very best of the season. He quarterbacks the Kings to 106-101 major upset on the somewhat slumping Nuggets (no Evans, no Billups). It may be just one game, but it's smoking proof why Beno Udrih should be a starting PG in the NBA.

I like the Kings. Flipping through while they were beating the "Thuggets" they had 3 white boys on the floor. It was Udrih, Nocioni and Hawes, I believe. Throw in a few minutes for Brockman. Although I guess Tyreke Evans was hurt, so he'll cut back into Udrih's minutes.

Brockman has had some decent games for a guy nobody thought would get drafted, because he wasn't tall enough, he wasn't athletic enough, and he wasn't black enough. Sheer will and determination combined with fundamentals can get you a long way.

For anybody that has ever seen the stocky muscular country strong Jon Brockman, he could clearly take almost any bruva in the NBA in a fight. Brockman should train MMA after his basketball career is over. Brockman couldn't be all that unathletic since I saw him take second place in a dunk contest once filled with black guys.

Josh McRoberts got his first start as a Pacer on Saturday night.

playing against Minnesota, McRoberts earned 7 points and 8 rebounds before fouling out. it was his third game in a row playing more than 20 minutes.

according to the coaching staff, a combination of injurieson the roster (Foster, Murphy, and Hansbrough) and much-improved play has given the athletic forward a more prominent place on the floor. not surprisingly, the most notable attribute of the former Dukie is his leaping ability. and he has already become a favorite target for point guard Earl Watson who says that McRoberts has not only terrific hops but the ability to read defenses well and know when to cut to the basket.

hopefully, McRoberts is finally emerging as a legit player in the league.

It's about time McRoberts got serious playing. He's still very young (22 years), and has terrific skills and hops. He and Hansbrough are part of the Pacers long-term future.

Among other things, Luke Ridnour continues to play solid despite limited playing time. He's only getting 22 mpg this season but, is scoring 11 ppg., not bad for someone playing hurt (left elbow sprain) in last several games. If just healthy, one of the better PG's in the Eastern Conference. Hinrich again has started the last 4 games, and the Bulls have won 4 straight. Edited by: j41181

Danilo Gallinari - 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists

Sucks to be Indiana right now! Foster, Murphy, Hansbrough, and Granger are all injured. Murphy and Dunleavy have yet to make the playoffs. On the bright side, McRoberts will get lots of playing time. Hopefully, the situation will make him a more polished and experienced player, making him a big part of the team's rotation next season.

Attendance has been poor for a while now in the NBA. Maybe even the DWF's are starting to wake up a bit. Some teams are almost entirely black except for a white or two that almost never play.

Stupid fans made Allen Iverson a starter in the all-star game while a guy like Dirk comes off the bench which sucks since this years game will be played in Dallas. However, Steve Nash will start.

The fans of the NBA truly are drunk to pick Iverson.The stupidity of the DWF's never ceases to amaze me. The only NBA team I can bare to watch is the Knicks because of Lee and Gallinari who will only get better. When I see the DWF's and their kids in these stadiums with Allen Iverson and Lebron James jerseys on I get sick to my stomach. They cheer like idiots for a bunch of gang bangers and gobble down their salted snacks.
