From an SI.com report on Rams training camp:
"- Each year it seems, coaches try to replace wide receiver Dane Looker, and each year he earns a job. This year looks no different. The 32-year-old Looker catches everything in sight and knows every receiver position. He had a nifty 47-yard catch-and-run from quarterback Brock Berlin against Tennessee that led to the team's only touchdown of the game."
Looker only has 89 career receptions, almost all of them during a three-year period when Mike Martz was with the team. He was kicked around the league for several years before catching on with the Rams when he was 26 years old.Looker had 0 catches in '06 and 6 last year. Looker could have made a very effective slot receiver but has been little more than a White Specials Team Demon and the holder for kicks for most of his career.
