Here are my projections for the white starters in Lubbock this fall. I did include 2 hispanics on offense.

LG-Louis Vasquez
RG-Manuel Ramirez

Defense
MIKE LB-Brock Stratton
RE-Seth Nitschmann
NT-Chris Hudler


WR(X) Todd Walker and WR(Y) Grant Walker should get some playing time. On defense, FS Lance Fuller, WILL LB Brent Slaughter, RE Tyler Yenzer, and NT/DT Dek Bake should do the same.

I haven't followed Tech this year, so it was a bit of a shock to see just three whites starting on offense for the Insight Bowl, including just one white on the line. That's quite a change from recent years, when the Red Raiders sometimes had three whites playing just at wide receiver.

I don't know if it was Vasquez and Ramirez, but the two hispanics starting on the o-line tonight were both dark-skinned non-whites.
