Take a look at this photo of the 1984 French side that won the European championships. All white!!!

Only a decade later the French were almost all-black. A perfect example of the caste system in action.

They might be getting a bit less racist as this year they start 4 whites (and 7 blacks). The best French player is Franck Ribary (whitey) and they are probably tired of losing to superior white athletes with their affirmative action squad.

You are right. Ribary is clearly their best player, hands down. He looks like he got into a knife fight or something with that long scar down his face. Does anybody know the story on him?Edited by: guest301

As a baby Ribery was in a car accident and he flew through the window he survived and know he is a good player

Ribery is a Muslim convert becuase his wife is North African, which is not cool in my books, but yes he is Frances best player and is real Frenchman.

I can't see an indigenous French striker ever playing for the national French team again. I think Christoph Dugarry was the last.

At one time France produced decent sprinters and even had a heavyweight challenger(who was white). I don't know what happened since the 80's. Maybe having the highest minimum wage in the world and have extremely liberal vacation time and pensions have softened the French to hard exercise.....

that team was heavily italian and other non-french europeans. most of the players mentioned in that article don't have a french name. so they are doing the same thing now but with africans. Edited by: cjay
