The list isn't horrible, but it tends to limit itself to Hall of Fame inductees (did they just go through the list of deserving and undeserving players enshrined there?) It is also predictably titled heavily towards modern players, most of them black, and has a decided preference for blacks when including players from the '60s-'80s. Thus, no Jerry Smith, Dick LeBeau, Jerry Kramer, Mick Tingelhoff and many other all-time greats who somehow haven't met the "criteria" for enshrinement at Canton. A few blacks like Art Monk, who haven't been inducted, did make the list, while several whites who are in the Hall, and deserve to be on the list, like Jackie Smith and Jim Taylor, aren't on the list. Ronnie Lott being ranked so high is especially ridiculous.

Wow, Ken, you're a rapid fire poster. You need to read the posting guidelines though. This is a troll-free board.

That was fast. And entertaining to watch. Don seems to have a troll "spider sense" that goes off nearly instantaneously, wherever he is. His response is swift.Edited by: jared

And they keep coming back even though they know they'll be banned. Reminds me of the enemy arachnids in Starship Troopers.

These lists are always hard to make without leaving out someone, and they are weighted toward recent players. I don't think O.J. Simpson was on the list.

The list has a lot of flaws. The number one flaw is that the guy who made it is a nut hugging, black loving peckernut.

Seriously, he actually has more black O-linemen than white ones. With John Hannah at #52. Outrageous!

He has Dick Butkus #32 but Mike Singletary #17 and Lawrence Taylor #3. Butkus should be around #3 and Singletary shouldn't even be in the top 50. Disgraceful!

His stats on Dion Sanders are bogus, as is his ranking of him. He claims Deion ran a 4.19 40yard dash. That's a lie. He should have been saying that with all that speed, Deion still never managed to tackle anyone.

His predictable comment on Steve Largent, "A small guy who became great with his heart and determination." I guess Largent is the only Top 100 guy who didn't succeed with his talent.

I could go on and on with his flaws but I will end on a positive. Michael Vick did not make his list.Edited by: GWTJ

Primetime never ran a 4.19. It was more like a 4.25. As a matter of fact, Don Beebe actually had a faster 40 yd. dash time. Beebe's was a flat 4.2 and some people say it even was slightly faster than that. I remember hearing a story when I was a kid about how Beebe either tied or beat Deion in a race at the NFL Combine and Deion got pissed off, refusing to believe what had just happened.

Oh man! I never heard that story before but I sure hope it's true. If there is anyway to confirm that story, I could think of a few people in my life I would like to show it too.Edited by: guest301

The part about Beebe tying/beating Sanders at the Combine is true, just look up the records. But I have to see if I can find factual evidence about him getting pissed off and refusing to believe that Beebe beat him. I've heard this story from like half a dozen people who are a lot older than I, so it may have some relevence. Let me do some research and I'll get back to everyone.

No, Deion and Don Bebee both ran 4.2 flats..And then Bo Jackson has the slightly newer combine record of 4.18. I will post links to prove this later when I have the time. I posted an article in these forums already several months ago about Deion and Bebee both formerly sharing the combine record at 4.2 flat.

Edited to add: I do think you are right though about Bebee racing Deion and beating him by a hair, I remember hearing that story once also.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Definitely Csonka. He is a full-blooded White man, whereas Riggins is part Native. This would explain his little alcohol problem throught his later years.

Neither was a Hall of Fame guy, really, but I loved the Bill Brown/Dave Osborn Vikings backfield of my youth. Ok, I'm old.

Is Riggo part American Indian? I never heard that? Csonka is a descendant of the Huns that makes him one of my favorites off of that alone....

Right; Csonka and Riggins are certainly bona fide hall-of-famers.
