Pleasant surprise but a major bummer they can't get a good White QB with all of the Northwest talent. Still 3 White defenders on a pretty major program is better than nothing.

Based on when he was used in the game, it appears that Duke RB Anderson Castle is 3rd string. However, thanks to a huge run, he lead the team with 69 yards on only 3 carries. The starting RB also had a fumble lost, so hopefully Castle moves up the ladder as the season progresses.

Good news!! The Panthers were likely to usurp his snaps with all the young receivers they invested in. Even if those guys are busts, they’ll get the opportunity. Plus, Young has mostly stunk as a QB. Hope this helps JJ develop as well.

I’d say the Steelers 53 man roster was an overall positive today. 4/4 White QBs. 2/5 White WRs. 6/9 White LBers. I did not expect Bruener or Skowronek to make it. PS - Scotty Miller is currently a starter in the Steelers base 3-receiver offense!
