Johny is trying MMA: He's definitely been down after some ups. Those were new moves! (Against a blogger?)

Well, Usyk got the world's first post-round stoppage. Some are calling it the world stoppage ever! I forgot to steal it because of the time zones. Good thing the cards would have also aligned with the betting books!

    World Cup racial mix-ups

England announced its team- majoirty black Head coach Tuchel could have selected 5 more white Englishmen, but he's picked an African team! The USA team should be much worse, but it's the same. We've endured Ameroids, but no. The team is very black. France was quiclkly the worst to be an...

    Miscellaneous Mixed Martial Arts News

Good recap. "Ngubu" is not really believable. Somehow, he needs to fight Josh Hokit. Poor Gina! The time-keepers say 17 seconds, but that was more like 5 seconds. I can't imagine training for so many months, working through grappling counters, slapping off jabs, and then get folded like that...

Cooper Flagg 2025 NBA First Round Pick 1 and NBA Rookie of the Year

Hey man, don't be judgmental. I'm sure she has a monster-sized ****, and some guys like that sort of thing! :afro:

Josh Hokit: American icon, role model, hero

Bo Nickal beat Josh Hokit very cleanly in 2019 NCAA Wrestling at 197. Sometimes, there is a line in the sand that you recognize and step over. I found some internet nerds declaring that Hokit must cut back down to 184, and then avenge his loss in collegiate wrestling against Bo Nickal, to...

Josh Hokit: American icon, role model, hero

He out-boxed a "perennial Top 5" heavyweight in Curtis Blaydes last month. The fight got a lot of positive press for being non-stop action, and I believe Hokit won both bonuses for "fight of the night" and "win of the night." His record is now 9-0 overall. Afterward, he was immediately added to...

Josh Hokit: American icon, role model, hero

Demure. Deferential. Debonnaire. Observe this timeless gentlemanliness as Mr. Hokit honors the scantily-clad women: they understand that their opinions, nay, their very SOULS are important to him! When Josh spoke aloud the Wisdom Text from old times, "Don't pull my noodle, toy poodle! I'm...

Josh Hokit: American icon, role model, hero

His name has been mentioned here before: https://castefootball.us/threads/2019-fresno-state-bulldogs.37296/ It's not really nearly enough when Joe Rogan mentions he has a "college football background." He was a D1 running back... WHITE

Josh Hokit: American icon, role model, hero

What if I told you that there is a heavyweight fighter in the UFC who wears fake Ray-Bans, an "Americana" beanie, and traipses around in a cape before and after his fights? You would call me a dumbass. What if I rebuked you and showed you proof? Here we come by Josh Hokit. Let's open a thread...

    The Athletic Website

Not a great thread title @wile but quality subject matter. It should probably be in the "media" sub-forum instead of NFL, in my opinion. Without doing any research to verify my memories, 'The Athletic' was founded as a bold idea: an online publication that would depend on paid subscriptions and...

    Transfer Portal Watch 2026

It's time now for all of our under-recruited "diamonds in the rough" that have now been found to get paid. First up: J.P. Estrella, a 6'11 big goes from Tennessee to Michigan. He's a "redshirt sophomore," which I presume means he finished a ******** undergrad degree and is transferring with 2...

    2025-'26 NBA Season

Sucks for Luka. It was funny to hear the noise earlier this week about a player's union pushback regarding the 65/82 game requirement for post-season accolades. That was for Cade - Luca's campaign was never possible anyway. Regarding the game requirements: a lot of independent jewish lawyers...

    March Madness 2026

What an epic outcome! I turned this game off before halftime - it was a certain outcome. I really whiffed by missing Braylon Mullins in my preview. I haven't been keeping tabs on the internet "draft boards" - mostly a year of Test Tube Freaks, as usual - but it would be great if Mullins came...

    March Madness 2026

TEST TUBE FREAKS!!! Hmmm, an awful lot of commercials with Duke's Boozer brothers during this week's game intermissions. They are definitely earning more than just what Duke's university-associated NIL collective is paying out. "From the mouths of babes" is a common turn of phrase. In this...

    Mac McClung

Mac is trending on Twitter tonight. Apparently, he became the top career points-scorer in G-League history: I don't recall seeing this from last month: Mac recorded the dunks he "would have" done in the Dunk Contest this season. I am assuming he monetized this content in some way that exceeded...

    March Madness 2026

I didn't realize that the Miami (FL) coach Jai Lucas was the only black head coach in the round of 32! Whitlock doesn't count Houston's Kelvin Sampson (I sure do though), who calls himself Native American. There were nine other black head coaches in the field of 68; none of them made the 2nd round.

    March Madness 2026

Iowa vanquishes Florida tonight at the death. Alvaro Folgueiras, the sixth man from Spain (possibly Basque?) puts in the dagger before the final bell. Florida can't respond in time. I'll be interested to see what kind of team Todd Golden fields next year.
