    2008 Florida State Seminoles

Congratulation to Florida State safety Myron Rolle on becoming a Rhodes Scholar and winning an all expense paid three years at Oxford University in London, England. That's quite an academic achievement. I read that Rolle wants to become a neurosurgeon.

    Olympic Final Four

The whites who made the final selection on the team were Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski and the head of USA Basketball Jerry Colangelo. What's amazing is that both of them are known for recruiting great white players. Coach K for Duke, which always has white All-Americans and NBA owner Jerry...

    US Olympic team

So I guess that means the fix wasn't in in 2004 when Argentina won the gold and the US was barely able to win the Bronze. I don't mind your attempts at childish insults, that's your IQ level or age I guess.

    US Olympic team

For the record, I just checked the box score for Spain vs. USA. The refs called 28 personal fouls on the USA and 19 personal fouls on Spain.

    US Olympic team

I wonder why white coaches, white referees, white team owners, white players and most especially all white teams like Spain don't complain about this so-called "blatant violation of the rules" caused by NBA affirmative action. Specifically with regard to USA vs. Spain, you might have a point if...

Let me get this straight, you didn't watch much of the game yet you know what happened on every play?

    US Olympic team

THE games of these Olympics are still Argentina vs USA. It always has been and there's no reason to see it any differently now. I agree that the US team is too deep, too committed and too well prepared for international play by Coach K to get beat but huge upsets can always happen in sports.

Why did Hester have to go to the Chargers

Its more likely that LT is doing the "rookies get no respect till they earn it, no matter what position they play" thing. LT went through it when he was a rookie. Most likely Hester is carrying LT equipment and fetching him water and gatorade when he wants it. Rookie hazing is an old and time...

Why did Hester have to go to the Chargers

Star Takes Rookie Under His Wing Posted by ESPN.com's Bill Williamson "LaDainian Tomlinson watches a lot of college football. He knows his stuff, especially about running backs. One of the players he watched closely last season was LSU's rugged tailback/fullback Jacob Hester. Tomlinson...

    2008 Summer Olympics

Just as tbe NBC announcers for the game kept saying, the officiating at the Olympics for basketball has always been atrocious. ALL teams are told to ignore the many, many bad calls and missed calls and just play on. China got smoked by 30 so bad calls didn't really mean much.

Why did Hester have to go to the Chargers

You go to the team that drafts you, its that simple. In the NFL you never know when a starting back will get injured and LT has been pretty fortunate to avoid most major injuries throughout his career. Hester's time will come. Its good for rookies at skill positions to learn the system.

    Jacob Hester, RB

Hester and Sproles will split back up duties behind LT with Sproles being 2A and Hester being 2B because of seniority. Hester will also play at fullback. Marv Turner rarely starts rookies at skill positions.

    Super Bowl: Tragedy in Arizona

I agree with you. No third year player should be considered "great" except perhaps as a "great " player for only being in the league for three years.

    Super Bowl: Tragedy in Arizona

I was simply trying to put Merriman's tackle totals for 2007 into proper context with the leaque leaders. Different teams look to different players in different positions to make a majority of thetackles. Merriman's job with theChargers' defenseis to sack the quarterback, guard against sweeps...
