Should Nationalists Follow and Support Professional Sports Teams?

Yes, my comment was too strong. It was a good article overall. But I've seen so many errant articles and books on this subject over the years. In the mid-60s all White SEC teams usually beat integrated teams. So I was criticizing "folks in general." Tennessee played teams with black players the...

Should Nationalists Follow and Support Professional Sports Teams?

All White Alabama teams beat Nebraska. which had a lot of black players in the 1966 Orange Bowl and 1967 Sugar Bowl, which the writer was obviously unaware of. He thought the 1970 USC game was the "first time against an integrated team, Southern California, and losing." Typical ignorance.

    Dick Fosbury, RIP

Eventually almost all competitors in the high jump adopted Fosbury's method.

I remember the stir about the Fosbury Flop.

    Jewish or not Jewish?

I saw the White people who hate White people trope begin some 50 years ago. Most of these have always been not Jewish. I believe it was Don who came up with the term "DWF." These types will almost always be "normal" White people, subconsciously status-seeking in a way.

    Joe Biden's America

So when does a organized crime hitman/career criminal need any training from a not especially efficient organization?

    Joe Biden's America

Assuming his father told him he "was trained by them," why should we think an organized crime hit man's word is the gospel truth? Such characters will tell any story, usually to make themselves more important than they were.

    Peyton Hillis

In the early 70s, O.J. Simpson took part (and won) the ABC "Superstars" contest. He didn't enter the swimming competition, saying, "If I tried to swim, I'd drown." With that kind of strength and willpower you would think Rob Konrad would have been a highly successful ground gainer in the NFL...

    RIP Tim McCarver

I saw him play in person for the Cardinals once. Best known for being the catcher for the 60s Cardinal pitching staff, Tim McCarver's biggest hit was a three run homer that gave the Cardinals a victory in the fifth game of the 1964 World Series.

    Super Bowl LVII

I read Jon Krakauer's book on Pat Tillman several years ago. There was very little on Tillman's relationship with Arizona Cardinal teammates. His only friend on the team was QB Jake Plummer. Tillman joined up thinking he would fight those who attacked the WTC. He thought Bush 43's invasion of...

    Joe Biden's America

It's common for comments at the NY Post to be "based" regarding crimes by this type of perpetrator.

    Super Bowl LVII

Can't think of anybody else who won three offhand. Starr, Staubach, Plunkett, Elway, and Eli Manning won two.

    Christian McCaffrey

Today regarding the Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl, Christian McCaffrey said: "I hope they both lose." After two seasons wrecked by injury, some of us thought CMac's best days were behind him, but after the trade, he came back strong. As noted in another thread, NFL.com said Christian McCaffrey was...

I had previously opined that Tom Brady shouldn't play a year too long. By retiring from football now, he leaves on top.

Don did very well, made the right points. I agree that there aren't any "right-leaning" pro football team owners.

Rest in Peace - Bobby Hull

Bobby Hull was the most famous hockey player ever, becoming so in the 1960s. A goalie said that with a Bobby Hull slap shot, the problem wasn't blocking it. The key was to keep from being killed.

    Keith Lincoln

I saw the 1963 AFL Championship game on TV. Keith Lincoln was one of my favorite players in those days. In the 1964 Bills-Chargers AFL title game, Lincoln was off to a hot start putting the Chargers ahead 7-0 on the first possession. Soon after, Lincoln caught a pass in the flat and Bills LB...

    2022 NFL Wildcard Round

In a way, Brady is a typical pro football player. Nearly all play as long as they can, until they are cut or no longer wanted by anybody after the contract runs out. At his age, he can go suddenly, have a good season, but the following year his arm is gone.

    2022 NFL Wildcard Round

Before the season I observed Brady was playing a year too many. It won't matter now if Brady wants to keep playing. No team will want him. This happens to everybody.
