    NFL Draft 2012

How many white men were drafted in '11? I'm thinking it was about 60.

    Pittsburgh chases more diversity!

The Pirates are looking at a 20th consecutive losing season. The pitchers, 9 of 11 white, have been doing their job. But they have few players hitting and it's sending them to one loss after the other. I keep hearing that Pedro Alvarez and Jose Tabata are going to be stars, but another year or...

    Bryce Harper

Bryce Harper up and another potential star in Mike Trout is back with the Angels. The Angels got rid of tubby affletito Abreu to make room for the majors' #1 prospect. Good luck to both of them.

    2012 Pittsburgh Steelers

I can see them going into the season with Legursky at LG and DeCastro at RG. Even if Legursky is somehow beaten out for the job by a sumo like Ramon Foster, he still should make the team because he's also the backup C. If both white O-lineman are starters, then all of the white players will...

    NFL Draft 2012

They drafted G Kraig Urbik and C A.Q. Shipley. Urbik was never given a legitimate chance and was taken by Buffalo when the Steelers tried to put him on the PS prior to his second season. Of course he has been a starter for the Bills the past two years. Shipley was a 7th rounder, IIRC, and was...

    NFL Draft 2012

I've got to admit I'm happy to see DeCastro go to the Steelers. And it ensures the Steelers will have a white player on the roster 3-4 years from now other than Ben/P/K/LS.

    NFL Draft 2012

I watched Bruce Irvin the past few years and I can't see why the Seahawks would take him at #15. He wasn't that good at WVU. The game is not played in shorts.

    2012 Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have signed Byron Leftwich to compete with Charlie Batch for the #2 QB spot. Throw in Troy Smith and Jerrod Johnson and the team has four blacks backing up Big Ben. Nice work Tomlin and Colbert!

    "Blacks are fading from baseball"

Number of African-American MLB players reaches historic low Excellent news, as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully the trend continues next year and beyond.

I'm hoping for a great year at Rice at WR for McGuffie, and then many more in the NFL!

2012 MLB Season - Players 25 and under to watch

leonardfan wrote: "I have noticed that the Yankees have no one on the list I provided. They are pretty much the Steelers of baseball." Yeah, I was down in Florida about a month ago covering some ST games and went through their media guides and it was really depressing. At the MLB level, I...

    2012 Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have some extra 7th-round picks. I bet they will choose a punter with one of them since Sepulveda will not be back. The rest of the draft class will almost definitely be black. I don't know whether I'm happy or not for Legursky. He'll get jerked around for one more year and then...

    2011 Pittsburgh Steelers

I was thinking about starting a new thread for the Steelers' 2012 draft and the upcoming season. But then some sense made its way back into my brain and I realized it would just be a colossal waste of time. Tomlin/Colbert will come up with another all-black draft, unless they pick a scrub white...

    Tiger Woods

Johnny Miller says "35-40" more victories, does he? Tiger will be lucky if he gets more than 3-4 wins. There are too many great golfers in the game in the past few years, and the injury bug will bite Tiger again soon.

Topps Disgraces Itself with Skip Schumaker Card

Don't sweat the small stuff, truthteller. Bud Selig is going to be around a couple more years at least so MLB will keep moving towards a bigger and better future!

    Joe Namath HBO Documentary

I'm a little too young to have seen Namath play but the clips I've watched and what I've read have convinced me was something truly special.

    Newt Gingrich

I don't think Ron Paul will run as a 3rd party candidate. It will come down to Obama and Romney. I don't see a minor candidate out there making any real difference. With the way the economy is headed, it won't make much difference who wins.

    Ron Paul - POTUS 2012

The Astros will probably be so bad again this year that Ron Paul should give it a try in spring training. Funny how the team was just too white when they were winning titles a few years back. Perhaps their newest crop of Latino stars will lead them back to the top someday.

    Madonna's S0d0mite Superbowl?

Madonna is garbage. Just another reason to ignore the Super Bowl "entertainment" once again.

    George Lucas' "Red Tails

The ads I've seen here and there for the movie seem to have pretty much dark Negroes as actors. I'm not going to see the movie to find out for sure. Maybe someone else on CF is willing to endure it and give a report.
