ND picked up 2 commitments this weekend, a wide receiver John Goodman and lineman Braxton Cave, who along with Mike Golic Jr. are the first 3 commitments for 2008 Charlie Weis has received. Yes, ALL 3 are White!

    Ramifications of Lions Trade

I can't see them adding both Curtis and Johnson to theyr payroll since I'm sure Curtis will command a nice deal... I'm hoping he ends up in Minnesota but not sure if they are looking at him or not...

Drew Bennett 41st best receiver in NFL

from draftdaddy.com: DD.com Comment: Our inside source at the Combine said Oakland and San Francisco really like Bennett, who is a California native. Considering the 49ers already have a quarterback in place, we think that San Francisco might be the better fit from Bennett's prespective.

    NFL Combine 2007

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Weddle's official time is listed at 4.48 I believe, so he did get out of the 4.5+ area...

    Brian Leonard 23

Was glad to see that. I could care less what round or pick he goes, I just want him to go to a team where he can be the feature back..

Texas DE Brian Robison at the combine.

As much as I'd love to see the Saints pick him up, Rob Ninkovich, a draft pick from last year, was very impressive in preseason and so I am hoping to see him move up the depth charts. But a defensive line with Ninkovich, Young, and Robison would not look too shabby to me..

    Duke hoops ’06-’07

I had this conversation not too long ago about Coach K and big men.. the only big men who are ever good pros are those who come to him dominant (ie. Elton Brand)... what is the problem? Why doesn't he have any of his ex-bigs coach with him in addition to guys like Wojo and Dawkins? It seems...

    Tommy Morrison

He said he'd like to fight twice in March because his timing was a bit off an that he needs to shake some rust. Will be interesting to see how his career plays out from here..

    Duke hoops ’06-’07

Duke has bounced back nicely from their recent losing streak holding off a rally from Clemson tonight to win their third straight. If they win out they will help their seeding greatly since this would include a win at North Carolina, and hopefully they can do well at the ACC tourny.

The Grizzlies will be fine next year if they keep Gasol, and they wouldn't be as bad if Gasol wasn't hurt at the beginning of the year and then when he came back not being 100%. I fully expect them to compete next year.Edited by: ocaamikedm11

Jason Williams started the break down of

I agree with you. I think Williams gets a bad rap, but that Kings team renewed my interest in the NBA. I always enjoyed their matchups at the time with the Jazz and Mavs were both pretty white also. And of course, disappointed whn Robert Horry would kill them every time it mattered...

    the '06-'07 hype thread

It was mentioned earlier about the lack of whites in the SEC and this is old news but I'd like to bring up that the most white-freindly SEC team, Vanderbilt, upset then-no.1 Florida last week. A lot of guys on the board like to follow the SEC and what goes on so I figure I'd throw that update in.

    BYU Basketball 2006-2007

BYU avenged its last loss which was to CSU. At this point BYu is probably in but they are now playing to upgrade their seeding. Hopefully they can move up into toe 5-7 range and do well in the tourny.

    Gotham’s Gutter Mets

The Mets are in for a competition from the Phillies this year, a much whiter team. It's a shame David Wright is a met and will probably be one for his entire career..

    RB - Sam McGuffie

Edwards, while not a halfback, ran the ball for ND, and you have to take into account that Wei has only been there 2 years and it isn't like any whites were already on the depth chart when he got there. The exposure as well as ND players usually being overhyped and helps their draft status...

    Gonzaga Hoops ’06-’07

Disappointing he went this route as it hurts his team a lot. Gonzaga has stepped up its play a little after having a couple adjustment games. Hopefully they finish strong and win the WCC tournament or they may be NIT bound...
