    Signing Day 2008

Well this is as good of a thread as any to throw in the White signings for class of '08. I only included schools that recruited white DBs, WRs, or RBs. I did my best to ascertain what position a player was going to be placed in. For guys I wasn't sure, I just put ATH and listed their...

    UFC 81

I enjoyed the night, some good fights. I was pulling for Brock also but like many have said, the potential is definitely there. I feel kind of bad for big Timmy but you gotta love somebody like Nog who can take such punishment and pull out wins with flawless BJJ.

    Another Smiling Negro

I'm proud to say I've never referred to another man as "tantalizing" or described his smile as "mesmorizing".

Jacob Hester named LSU starting RB

I used to think it was Hillis hands down but Hester's a guy that you just don't wanna doubt. I gotta agree with Mike though, Eric Kettani of Navy is very explosive.

    Caste Football Mock Pick #16

The Cards threw a lot of money in to get Edge last year. Is management willing this early to admit they screwed up? I see CB as most likely.

You'll find a lot of stories on here about white players getting shafted. Try this thread which contains some eye-opening articles. Welcome to the site, fellow Arizonan. We always need more people with info on the latest up and coming talent.Edited by: jared

    The All American Football League

I've checked out the website pretty thoroughly. I like what they're about: - Only 4-year college graduates are eligible - Players will be mostly allocated to teams in the state where they went to school - Players can attend grad school in the off-season etc.

    The All American Football League

Well, the AAFL just had their draft. You may recognize some of the NFL cast-offs on their rosters: Alabama: RB Tre Smith of Auburn RB/FB J.R. Niklos of Frankfurt Galaxy fame Florida: WR Chris Doering of NFL and University of Florida fame Texas: QB Eric Crouch of Nebraska

    RB/S - Rex Burkhead

Great news! Thanks for the update.

Caste Football Mock Draft Pick #14

How about safety? Archuleta may not last long in Chicago either, Mike Brown is old. Their defense (though injury riddled) was definitely a disappointment last year.

    white vs. black games '07-'08

Wow, 11 out of 15 players on the WSU roster are white, 1 is Hawaiian. Definitely a team to cheer for, high ranked too!

    Ron Paul in 2008!

Fun note: during a field goal attempt by the South team in the Senior Bowl, there were two very prominent Ron Paul signs held up by fans behind the goal posts.

    Mike Campanaro RB/DB

At Illinois and Northwestern camps, he ran a 4.3 in the 40. He's getting interest from Notre Dame to play CB. It's still early of course, a lot of things could change in a year.

    Class of 2008 Running Backs

RB updates: Adam Urbano: Has interest from W. Kentucky and UAB and offers from Georgia Southern and Troy. He's likely to sign with Troy (He was recruited by Troy's OC so he'll likely play RB or WR at worst) Alex Daniel: Has signed with Northwestern Andrew Guillot: Nothing significant to...

    Senior Bowl

Mike Martz has called about 6 runs for Hillis this half.

    Senior Bowl

I distinctly remember a site saying on Wednesday (3rd day of practice) that Jordy Nelson "finally dropped a pass". It wasn't a very good pass either. So I don't know what the hell this clown is talking about. He mentions Jordy as having a case of the butterfingers. That's a good one.

    Senior Bowl

Just depends on where you get your info. Every other place I've read stuff has been more positive. Some people just don't know what they're talking about. His scouting report describes Jordy as "more quick than fast" and "won't stretch the field vertically".
  18. J

How will Jordy do at the Combine?

Mayock said Jordy's fast. However he differentiated between being fast and being "sudden" or "quick". Wes Welker is sudden and quick to the max, but not especially fast. I have no doubt that Jordy Nelson would kick his ass in a 100 yard dash just as I have no doubt that Wes would destroy him in...

Need help convincing drunk white fans.

Good articles TJR. Funny thing is I was just starting to compile articles of that nature a couple days ago. The Orlando Sentinel article you mentioned (which Zagoria's article borrows very GENEROUSLY from) is an outstanding source in its entirety. It can be found here. Part 2 of the article (not...

    East West Shrine Game

He doesn't look slow to me. He looks like he covers ground fast, he was flying around the field making tackles.

    Senior Bowl

What is Woodhead's verified size though? All these guys like Forsett and Savage were all listed as bigger until they actually got weighed in at the Senior Bowl. Woodhead looks pretty small out there.

Horoscopes are a pretty apt comparison jaxvid.

    Denis Boytsov

Caught some of him on youtube. He looks pretty fast and exciting to watch.

    East West Shrine Game

Excellent points Mike, I agree whole-heartedly. I'm very sick of cookie-cutter "draft experts" and their tired cliches for whites.

    RB - Sam McGuffie

I've seen the first video before, it's actually kind of funny in parts. Particularly the 3:40 mark. "Welcome to the 'Sam McGuffie just jumped your ASS fan club'"
