Well did he practice on Friday? some coaches are strict about not playing if you didn't practice on Friday. It could be a mixture of things. I would imagine Hillis is upset after being told they want the backup to get more carries after he just carried the team on his back for a win. Hopefully...
Looking forward to seeing Hillis and Woodhead run wild today. Hopefully Hillis can get some blocking. I am predicting 100 yard games for both, at least from scrimmage.
I have a question, is it usually reliable to watch these games online?
I usually go to a sports bar or this wing place but I...
Apparently he was playing with a separated shoulder. Hopefully this will heal up and not get any worse.

"*Zach Line added three touchdowns to up his season total to 11. He played with a...
Well thats good news. Hopefully he can somehow get on the field this season.
Someone asked if McGuffie was injured and I was able to find out some information. He has been dealing with injuries but can't find out exactly what.
"Despite the opponent, Sam McGuffie should be startable this week...
Not sure who said it, have it on the laptop with internal speakers. Usually have Versus but out of town and its not in the hotel, but they did have SMU so that makes up for it.
Did Dana Holgersen just forget all of those years as an assistant at Texas Tech under Leach, then at Houston and...
Did I just hear correctly? the announcer just compared Burkhead to Walter Payton. Don't have loud speakers but it sounded pretty positive.
Burkhead does look amazing, glad to see him getting more in a rhythm since the Fresno St game.
same here, please, Ive been looking but have only found a dead link.
There was a way to pay for c-usa games last year and it came in handy for watching Rice and SMU as a last resort but I haven't seen the option so far.
They should be running the clock down with Line. The defense is tired and a big back would do better. The backup almost got the qb killed in pass protection, he took a big hit but still made the td throw and then he just coughed it up. They were in a goal line situation, Line should have gotten...
Finally watching the SMU game now, I had to do some family stuff so missed the first half. Hopefully I can find a way to get a copy. Its on my tv as well so I would imagine quite a few people are watching, at least flipping through. I hate the fact that none of the other half time shows play...
The Danny Woodhead thing I don't understand. Bill Bellicheck used him more in Lawfirm's role in the first game, he proved he could get the tough yards, he averaged 4.9 ypc without breaking a run over 9 yards. IF he would have broken a long run his ypc would be ridiculous, and he is a threat to...
well Kariya is better in short yardage situations so he has some use. He just doesnt have much explosiveness so if he doesn't get any momentum he can be stopped easily. Its good to have both of them when they run the two back set out of shotgun, both can run and both can catch.
I do think JJ...
You would think that there are some back up White receivers that can catch. They started moving the ball when it was to JJ and Kariya. Then the drive ended with a drop by the backup quarterback lined up as a receiver.
edit: as I pressed enter a White (pretty sure he was White) walk on caught a...
DiLuigi came out with an explosive run and then came limping to the sideline, I think it was just minor because he was back in the game. Heaps overthrew him on what would have been a touchdown. Heaps continues to struggle, although I think some of these receivers are to blame.
My original point is that Taylor is right up there with the "number 1 back" from the late 50's-early 60's - today. I'm sick of Whites always having to be number 2 or less, no matter what the situation.
My other point is that just because you saw it live doesn't make someone else on this site...
I'm just stating what I believe and that stats don't tell the entire story. Its ridiculous to have Jim Brown elevated to some mythical status at number 1 that can't be touched, that the idea of someone being his equal is just out of the equation. It doesn't matter that they played a different...
The 5 I was referring to was in a season, which I got wrong, it was 6. No I didn't watch it live but I have talked to various people who did, some who watched football religiously, some who just followed Taylor. My argument is that most of his carries came up the gut, and everyone besides you...
No I didn't see it live but I have seen footage. You aren't the only person to have watched games from that era. The guy that I watched the footage with is very passionate about Taylor but has footage from that era and saw both play as well (not sure where he collected from but I would love to...
No its not a disgrace to be 2nd to Jim Brown, but the whole point is, if he is 2nd to Jim Brown then there is no way he should be that far down the list. I'm don't know if they would have had the same success some of those years without Taylor.
If you take out the 3 years he played past his...
Well hopefully we are just taking this the wrong way. 27 carries is what was needed for the last game but he can't keep that average up for the entire season. I mean he can but I don't want him to wind up like Larry Johnson and burn out after the season, because 27 carries for the rest of the...
Ive always been weary of their top 10 lists ever since they put the dome patrol at number 1 for linebacking corps. The Dome Patrol was good at rushing the passer, pretty good at the run but not good in coverage. I grew up watching the Saints and them blowing leads. Yes the Saints offense wasn't...
Man can you imagine what Hillis would look like if he got some of the blocks Turner is getting? that 61 yard run he barely had to move, it was just a straight line, a pulling guard and a gaping hole and nobody for a long time.
I must have missed something, I guess Vick got injured. Kafka is...
