I think that one of the reasons there's declining interest is the increasing exclusion of whites in the media and the draft. Fewer whites equals less interest.
Good call. I think you're right.
Mike Glennon will probably be available in a trade. He has two years left on his contract.
A smart, quarterback needy team would offer a second or third for Glennon.
I think the mainstream media has damaged the careers of players such as Glennon with unfair, racially motivated negative...
NFL TEAMS, HEAR ME! LISTEN TO ME!
You can easily improve your franchise by giving undervalued white players a fair chance.
Out there, somewhere, are Julian Edelmans, available and ready to help your team win. Take advantage! Give them a shot! Win!
Good point. The commentators are always saying it's a copycat league but that apparently doesn't apply to giving deserving white players a shot to build your franchise.
Cleveland drafting a center in the first round is bizarre. They have an all pro center under contract and a good offensive line.
They should have taken Maxx Williams to give Johnny M a target.
I think Maxx Williams and Henry Anderson are very good prospects who should have gone in the first round.
I expect both of them to be taken in the 2nd.
I think a very high percentage of the players taken in the first round will be busts.
This draft apparently has the highest percentage of blacks taken ever. I'll bet it has the highest percentage of busts too.
Based on the players taken in the first round this looks like a bad draft class as far as talent is concerned. Some of these players look like they should be 3rd or 4th rounders.
In 2014 there were 5 whites drafted in round 1, in 2013 6 whites and in 2012 10 white men were drafted in the first round.
With 2 picks to go this year, only 1.
Overnight, all of a sudden, the draft is almost entirely black, like night and day. Compare it to previous years.
What happened? It can't be a coincidence.
I thought maybe up to 5 white men would be drafted in the first round, Scherff, Williams, Fisher, Grayson and Petty. Doesn't look as if that's happening.
Oh well, the first round's not over yet...
And they took this guy over Henry Anderson?
What makes him a better prospect than Anderson? He's less productive and less athletic.
Oh. He's black. Less athletic and less productive black players are better prosepcts to the anti-white, black supremacist football industry.
Yes, it was Forsey I was thinking of. I couldn't remember his name.
I remember he got one start. He rushed for over 100 yards in it and that was the only real opportunity he ever got. That was under Dick Jauron, who at least played him. Then Smith took over and he got cut.
After all, the...
They definitely do deserve each other. I remember Smith saying a promising young white running back looked like a water boy and cutting him.
Smith's a racist.
Unfortunately Buccaneers management may overrule whatever Smith wants.
