    What do YOU think?

To this country's rulers and opinion makers, white people do not exist any more. The exception is every four years during the Presidential election. Then, you hear candidates and TV talking heads discuss getting the votes of the "Middle Class." It is amusing to see Barack Hussein Obama...

    Worst Race on Earth

The first trial has been held. It was a federal trial of Eric "E" Boyd for helping hide the defendants who had carjacked the victims. Boyd was found guilty of being an accessory on April 16. Below is a thread from Lawrence Auster's View From The Right. There are several threads within...

    The First Asian-American NFL QB

Do you know who the first "Asian-American NFL Quarterback" was? I didn't either although I had followed his career from 1961 when he was at North Carolina State. I just found out at wikipedia that Roman Gabriel, long-time LA Ram QB was the first Asian-American quarterback. Gabriel's father...

    Obama’s Football Supporters

McConnell seemed to think that seeing blacks in a position of "honor and leadership," was an established fact, as much as a good thing. Obama's black football supporters didn't seem to do him as much good in Pennsylvania as expected.

    Obama’s Football Supporters

In the April 21 issue of The American Conservative, the Editor Scott McConnell, has a piece on Barack Obama's visit to Penn State titled, "He Is Penn State." Several black Penn State football players helped with crowd control, and one of them sang the national anthem. Sen. Casey, who introduced...

    Obese Black Player Watch

This reminds me of something I saw in Sport Magazine around 1972. There was an item saying something like "black pitchers are in general better performers than white pitchers." This was right after Vida Blue's big year in 1971.

the "Not enough blacks" BS has returned

As I posted a few years ago, this is an old hobby horse of the sporting press. Around 1975, there was a cover article in Sport Magazine titled, "The Black Minor Leaguer Is becoming An Endangered Species.' The theme was that the majors were starting to get most of their players from college...

Gumbel to do pbp on NFL Network games

There was a magazine that was started around 1970 called "Black Sports." Does anybody besides me remember it? It lasted a few years. I think Bryant Gumbel was involved with Black Sports. One of the articles was about Tennessee State quarterback Joe Gilliam. It was titled, "Move over Broadway...

    The Obama Speech

Lawrence Auster writes at his VFR site, "This man is a superb actor and the most sinister figure in American politics in my lifetime." This is the thread from VFR: http://www.amnation.com/vfr/archives/010151.html

    Murder at UNC

At the start of the UNC murder, I don't think the MSM expected the perp to be black. They thought it would be an upper middle class white ex-boyfriend. Or a jealous fellow student. Nancy Grace shouted at one point, "Where was the boyfriend?"

    Fred Reed

Last year, Fred Reed had two columns on race and crime. The first on June 24, 2007, dealt with the Christian-Newsom murders in Knoxville, TN. The second was on December 8, 2007. Both are at his site, http://www.fredoneverything.net. Lew Rockwell published neither of these columns at...

I can remember seeing Eagle Day playing for the Redskins on TV.

    Murder at UNC

As I write, there are photos on the internet of the suspect in the Carson killing. He was seen on a surveillance camera while accessing Eve Carson's ATM card. The suspect is a black male, late teens or early twenties, wearing what appears to be an old Houston Astros cap.

    Congratulations, Brett Favre!!

It is a fact that rushing records have always gotten more media attention. In 1967, Joe Namath was the first QB to pass for over 4000 yards in a season. Very little was made of it, and Namath was a big name playing in New York. Johnny Unitas set the record for a 12 game season with 3099 in 1960...

    Joe Ferguson Cancer Update

Around two years ago, I posted that ex-Bill and Arkansas QB Joe Ferguson, was battling cancer. He had been doing better, but had to undergo treatment again in January. There is an web page put up by his family at this site: http://www.hickman.k12.ca.us/joef.html

    Wladimir Klitschko vs. Sultan Ibragimov

During the late 1960's, those who said that Dempsey, Marciano, or Tunney were better champions tham Ali were mocked for taking this view. I recall a black writer saying something like, "Since there isn't a white fighter around today up to the job, they have to go back to old-time fighters and...

    Barack Obama

Lawrence Auster, at his View From the Right site, reports that some of Obama's "white" vote is from Republicans. They are voting for Obama to strike a blow against Hillary Clinton.

    Cooney-Norton

After beating Norton, Cooney went into a spell of inactivity. He was softened by drugs, alcohol, etc going into the Larry Holmes fight. Cooney did not exactly have the mind-set that Rocky Marciano had in a similar situation.

    Another Smiling Negro

It looks like the Kirkwood, Missouri shootings are not going to be played up very much. The killer was named Charles "Cookie" Thornton. In one account, I read that he was called "Cookie" because of his smile.

    The election

Hillary's camp is said to be in a state of panic. They think she will be swept again on Tuesday, and Obama will have so much momentum that she won't be able to win Texas and Ohio on March 4.

    Retired Players In Difficulty

Don, I read that article today in the public library. I was interested to learn what Bernie Parrish had done since he left football. He seems to have done well as a hotel developer. However, I don't take everything Parrish says at face value. Around 1971, when "They Call it a Game," was...
