Interesting call by the Falcons. Ryan leading them down the field and then let an athlete run the QB position and Kuechley makes a great play and tackle in the backfield. Holding Atlanta to a FG.
I said I would be positive and I still am, but I agree McCaffrey clearly wide open and Newton seems to just refuse to look CM's way most of the time. Two defenders on the intended receiver and the throw wasn't very accurate either.
A few stats from last night:
Trout, LAA: 34 HR, D. Leading the league in OBP.,OPS., BB., OPS+, Also, closing in on SLG%. lead, .625.
Olson, OAK: 27 HR
Chapman, OAK: 23 HR
Bellinger, LAD: 23 HR and 6 RBI.
Reddick, HOU: 14 HR
Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera said the goal for Christian McCaffrey this week was to enhance his workload by getting him the ball 15-20 carries and 6-10 receptions against the Falcons. I'm not doing much today because of the weather, so I'm staying positive and look forward to watching the game...
I hope you guys don't get tired of hearing my recruiting stories about these colleges. ECU was one of the worst schools, we, my son and I, went to. When being recruited they were one of the schools that said they wouldn't recruit a white RB. We thought ECU would be a lock for a scholarship...
Carney finished with 116 yards on 18 carries. 6.4 avg./carry!
I will be attending the Wake Forest/Notre Dame game next week. Free tickets, daughter a student there, an hour away, so I might as well go. Look forward to watching Carney, oh and my daughter of course. LOL!
As a matter of fact, I did catch a glimpse the other day. I had no interest in watching the NFL so I gave it a shot. I have to say I enjoyed it, though I don't understand all the rules. Sean89, if you can fill me in on some of the rules and how it's played, I may tune in more often.
Welcome to...
Yet another instance of self-loathing and belittling one's own race. Made me sick to watch that clip. Needless to say, I haven't watched ESPN for years now.
…...and again white people do it to themselves!
Markakis leading the NL in Hits, 174 and doubles, 40. Now has 2,226 hits and 964 RBI's, 1040 runs. I'm thinking he's going to finish the season with a minimum of 2,240 hits. That being said, he would have to average 152 hits over the next 5 years to get to 3,000. That would be to age 39. If he...
It's time to give Alex Bregman his own thread! Today the AL MVP candidate reached some amazing milestones! He hit his league leading 50th double, knocked in his 100th run, and scored his 100th run. He also has hovered around hitting .300 all season.
He will probably finish second in the MVP...
Yep. As I've said, I don't watch much football anymore, but tried really hard to watch the Panthers Sunday and McCaffrey was compared to no one and the few other times I've watched I haven't heard anything in the past, although he broke Reggie Bush's Pac-12 all purpose yards record. I do...
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" Psalm73:26
Well said sprintstar for a person whose not religious! BTW, I'm not religious either.
I hope one day you will examine all the religions of the world and then honestly ask the Lord about...
Brother, I don't know what's going on in your life, but please get your eyes off of people and get your eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ. People will always disappoint, including both me and you. It is only by the mercy and grace and what Christ did for you on the cross that you're saved!
I could...
Yes, it's so frustrating to see Trout being wasted on the Angels! He is 8- for his last 10 AB's and has only managed to score three runs, two of which were by his on bat by hitting HR's.
Superb analysis Claimjumper! Frankly I'm astonished that there are 6.5 starters per team! I thought it was lower than that! But what would I know, except for Wake Forest, only because my daughter is a student there, I don't ever watch college football anymore.
Agreed. Patience is not my strength....and I've about had it with the NFL. When I tried to watch the first quarter of the Panthers game and CM only got one carry, I lost patience again. I guess I was hoping for more and to see him get off to a good start towards a 1,000 yard season as were many...
I missed the second half. Did he rip off a long run, because I had him at around 6-26 first half and heard on the radio his first carries of the second half only went for a few yards?
6 carries 26 yards x 2 best case scenario. 12 carries, 52 yards x 16 games =832 yards. I said earlier in the year he would need between 15-16 carries to get to 1,000. We'll see.
I will miss the second half. Going to church. I hope CM has great second half!
