San Francisco 49ers General Thread

I've been following De'Zhaun Stribling (retarded first name), drafted by the 49ers as the first pick of the second round, since Ricky Pearsall went down for the season. And he's getting nothing but rave reviews. He had 7 catches on 8 targets in San Fran's first preseason game. The 49ers took a lot of criticism for taking him so early, just as they did when they drafted Pearsall, but Stribling is similar to Deebo Samuel -- strong, faster than Deebo and not afraid to block and hit defenders, so if he does pan out right away Pearsall will be Wally Pipp'ed. (For those unfamiliar with the reference, search Wally Pipp and Lou Gehrig.)

I’ve been reading McCaffrey could be conducting a “hold in” scenario as he leverages for more guaranteed money as this is likely his last chance to earn big. Not sure I buy it, but I don’t need him to get reps in practice and preseason. Just healthy for the regular season and playoffs.

last season the haters pointed out that CMac ran for a pedestrian average of just 3.9 yards-per-rush attempt, well below his career average of 4.6.

however, these liars neglect to mention that he had career-high numbers in production after contact. so, did the 49ers do anything to shore up the obvious achilles heel of their offense (other than injuries), the offensive line?

it would seem to be paramount …

Guys we missed this one Jed York was busted for solicitation and pled it down to disorderly conduct which I always thought was drunken behavior in public.

Here's the video...

The guy was dumpster diving. Extremely ill-advised, personally and professionally. But, I don’t care about victimless “crimes.” Vice squads” need to stick to protecting children.

We all had a good laugh at the septuagenarian Kraft getting caught in the low rent body rub parlor.

York went into full secret agent mode dressing like Joe Six Pack in a cheap rental car. At least he didn't act like he was a VIP when he was arrested. He should have consulted Davis' bowl cut haired son on West Coast call girls and none of this would have happened...

On a more serious side not White slavery and child exploitation is all police departments should be busting johns and bawdy houses for. In more corrupt times in the late 19th century through the early 20th century police forces just took bribes and freebies from these places.
