Jac Caglianone (23 years, 134 days) over his last 14 games:

3 Multi-HR Games
3 Games w/ 4+ Times Reaching Base Safely

The only player in the live-ball era (since 1920) to have such a 14-game span at a younger age (based on age on last day of span) was Reggie Jackson in 1969.

Jac Caglianone has 6 home runs in his last 5 games

That’s tied for the most in a 5-game span in Royals history, with:

1999 Jermaine Dye
1995 Gary Gaetti
1990 Bo Jackson
1975 John Mayberry

Jac has some of the best raw power in MLB. I really love the young power hitting trio of Nick Kurtz, Bryce Eldridge and Caglianone. I mention them a lot but I think all of them have the talent, raw power and age to make a run at 500 homers. This is our next generation of guys after Schwarber, Trout, Harper and Alonso.

PS - Jac is obviously Italian on his Dad’s side but his mother is Puerto Rican. You can easily find pictures. I wouldn’t call her fully European, but she’s not non-White enough for me to give up my support. But figured it’s worth mentioning and to each their own.

Rest assured, as he gains wider notoriety his “Puerto Rican heritage” will be emphasized and celebrated by the media.

Bummer. Another Bongino-American.

Bummer. Another Bongino-American.
Bongino's Wikipedia entry doesn't say anything about being Puerto Rican. He claims to be Sicilian and German.

Dan Bongino is not Puerto Rican. He is an Italian-American born and raised in Queens, New York. [1]
Key Details of His Heritage:
  • Ancestry: Bongino has stated that he is of Italian (Sicilian) and German descent.
  • Wife's Heritage: His wife, Paula Andrea Martinez, was born and raised in Colombia.
  • Public Misconceptions: Due to his physical appearance, online users on platforms like Reddit have occasionally speculated about his ancestry, but he has publicly confirmed his Italian-American background. [1, 2, 3, 4]

FT, here's a video that features the parents of Jac or J.A.C. -- birth name is Jeffrey Allen Caglianone.

Freeze the video a bit after the 25 second mark and you can see JAC is clearly White (lighter-skinned, smaller lips), classic Italian looking. Mom does not look "Classic White"; but her son clearly does. To me, at least. Although in this photo his mom does have slightly more European features than other pics -- square jaw, high cheek-bones, silky (not kinky) hair.

Jac's sister, mentioned but not seen in MLB.com video above, clearly is less European looking than JAC ....... really, I have hard time believing that's his full-blooded sister as they look totally different. Although, not all siblings look a like (different hair color, eye color, ect). We know that! But Jac and Samantha look to be different racially.

Since the boomer generation, research shows there is a very strong link between early marriage and higher divorce rates. Those getting married as teens or early twenties are much more likely to be divorced than others that wait. For athletes it's much worse, in general:

Divorce rates among professional athletes are estimated to be between 60% and 80%, which is significantly higher than the overall national average. This disproportionately high rate is often attributed to the extreme physical and psychological demands of elite sports careers, as well as the unique lifestyle challenges that accompany fame and fortune.

My point?

Upon looking up Jac's family, I see he's marrying into a total White trash family at an early age. Hope it works out well for him, but why is he in such a rush to marry into such a low-class clan? :afro:
