2026 MLB Season

Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski pitches complete game one hit shutout with 15 strikeouts against the Phillies. Better than Skenes and Ohtani? The Phillies need to get Skubal at the trade deadline.

Yes, I had been tracking Eldridge somewhat before this GS. Before this it was being questioned if he should've been promoted to the League as if he was not quite ready. His BA was really low, but he's shown the critics they were wrong. He's currently batting .316.
5 HR's!
Another one to watch is Seattle Mariners SS/3B Colt Emerson. He was called up at just 20 years old has 5 homeruns in his first 69 AB's. That's an even better rate than Eldrige. 5 HR's in 98 AB's. However, Emerson needs to bring that average up, .232 although again he's just 20. Could be another Superstar.

20 year old Emerson does it again. His 6th homerun in his first 22 games!

I'm happy Trout homered for the 2nd time in 3 games but he is still in a horrible slump overall. I still think he should have his eyesight
checked as he strikes out so much. Part of it is frustration being stuck on what is one of the worst teams in all of baseball. What a shame
that his final years will probably be playing for a team that has no direction. Coming into the season I had hopes that Trout could have
a monster year and be at 450 homers at the end of the year. He would need to hit 30 more which is unlikely with his many slumps. I will
never stop rooting for the guy. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out.
