Agreed. He backed it up with a good, albeit, windy sub 10 time. Consistent improvement is the goal especially against top ranked competition.I would rate Blaskowski's result today as very good.
He was up against top level competition, and finished 4th. Finishing behind Olympic and World Championship medalists like Bednarek and Christian Coleman is nothing to be ashamed of.
Plus he beat Letsile Tebogo, who is the Olympic 200m Champion.
So not a bad showing at all. He proved that he belongs at this top level of competition and that his recent 9.89 time was no fluke.
