Miscellaneous Boxing News

Yes Smith won an old fashioned Spaghetti Western shoot out over Matais with a violent 5th round TKO. Picture Lee Van Cleef eating lead from Clint Eastwood.

I didn't think he could win a shoot out with the Afro-PR fighter but he beat him at his own game. He has a potential lucrative future ahead as he could fight the winner of Lopez vs Stevenson or a high profile domestic opponent or even have a rematch with Matais but I suspect only with Saudi sponsorship will this fight happen as this fight was brutal for both fighters and neither were paid super star money similar to what Lopez and Stevenson are making.

Also on Saturday Kurdish immovable object Agit Kabayel was in the process of beating down valiant Polish challenger Damian Knyba when the referee prematurely stopped the interim WBC championship due to the Pole wobbling late in the 3rd round but the Pole had never crashed to the canvas and wasn't exhausted from a long grueling bout. He looked like he was to be vanquished but let the tough Pole go out on his shield or let his corner surrender at the end of the round if they though he was too concussed to continue.

A three-card weekend starting Friday at 6 am. Nikita Tszyu vs Michael Zerafa is one I hope to see. It should be an entertaining fight. This card features three heavyweight fights. The other cards are mostly Hispanic fighters. Caden Griffiths is a white fighter who could have a promising career if handled correctly.

Yes the younger sibling of Tim who places punches similarly to Tim. This will be his first live opponent so this will be a test for the prospect, we also have the comeback of McKean who if he wins will be positioned to be the B side foil to Teremoana at some point in 26' or early 27'. Ruslan Abdullaev is another prospect worth watching as he is former world amateur champion and should be moved swiftly through the prospect gauntlets.

Note he is a Eurasian from the Uzbekistan and not a Russian.

Also in the biggest news of the weekend vile criminal Tank Davis had an arrest warrant issued in Miami for another domestic violence charge. I hope when he is in the Florida state pen for this crime he doesn't fall under the protection of the Black Guerilla family and a Arayan brotherhood member beats him like the various women he has beaten over the years so that he understands what it is like picking on small defenseless people.

https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/47611256/arrest-warrant-issued-boxing-campion-gervonta-davisA 6'+, 200+ pound man should be able to beat the sh*( out of the Oompa Loompa.

PS the Zoo Keeper's sons fight isn't on North American television or streams so you will need to watch a pirate stream and it will be on around 6am EST on Friday.
