2025 College Football Bowl Season

Vander Zee with a TD reception. Sharar with 2 sacks in the first half. Posted in the wrong thread initially.

I'm stuck with the "Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl" between Duke and Arizona State. I don't have BSPN.

TJ Hall gives up a TD. This broadcast team has been annoyingly hyping him up all game.
and to make it even funnier, the play before Hall gave up the touchdown, they were insisting that “Hall has made himself some money today!” LOL

meanwhile, they’ve said nary a word about Zach Lutmer who hasn’t been tested deep at all when lining up at outside corner, and who has only given up a couple of short crosses/slants on the day (one for 4-5 yards, the other for 6 yards on 3rd-and-7) when he’s covering in the slot. “somehow” he’s not worthy of discussion, however.

“weird,” huh?

and just as I’m typing this up, Lutmer breaks off his man to chase down a Vandy receiver on the sideline and save a potential touchdown. the commentators didn’t even say his name.

Funny how that works isn't it?

Hopefully Iowa can hang on here.

Lutmer is finally tested deep, and he breaks up the play in the end zone. White out in effect.

Iowa's all White front 4 has shut down the run and kept the pressure on mexican manziel all game. They should all be in the NFL next year. So far only Llwellyn is getting the proper recognition from the draft process.

Iowa wins!

Now the cuck loser Rhule trots out his underachieving affletic Cornhuskers with a starting QB from Compton.

Glad to see Cooper Barkate played for Duke. Indication that he will likely return for another season, as he's eligible for a 5th year because he only played in 2 or 3 games for Yale as a freshman. Of course, if Barkate was a "tight end" he'd be able to jump immediately to the NFL and be picked in the top 3 rounds. As a White wide receiver, he'd have a hard time being drafted due to racial reasons.

P.S: I know the black woman over at Lipstick Alley are absolutely giddy that "Cornball Brother" Sherrone (link) was humiliated and fired, but I'd have to think most sane Wolverines fans (even DWF's) will be equally giddy if their wildly over-hyped freshman quarterback leaves via the portal. Most over paid athlete in the short history of N.I.L.?

Underwood should be getting raked over the coals when looking back at the hype plus the millions given to him to perform like he did against Texas. Not to mention a 9-4 season, not exactly a great investment.

Manning ended the year on a high note as well. 221 passing yards, 2 TDs plus 155 rush yards and 2 TDs. Next year he should be viewed as the best QB in the country. The attempts to label him that this past season were premature. Manning's development and improvement as the season went on is encouraging. The knives will be out for him next year.

Yes, Leo, but I bet Michigan's overpaid WGA will still be the #1 QB prospect on Mel Kosher Jr.'s list if he was draft eligible :buitre:

I see Carson Beck is covering his "green-arm" (right arm). I know about 10 to 15 years ago, NFL teams would've downgraded the "face of the franchise", if he was "tatted" to the degree Beck is. I know Cam Newton had to promise the man that owned/founded Carolina that he would not get noticeable tattoo's before he was drafted?

As a potential "fringe" prospect, I wonder if NFL teams will even brother to draft Beck? Although covering his right arm won't hurt?

Outside of Bears' backup Tyson Bagent, is there any other "green-armed" quarterback in NFL history? Not even the blacks are tatted to any significant degree, even though I saw DeShaun Watson was totally tatted recently.

Pierce with the forced fumble for Ohio State! it’d be nice if they played more of our guys on defense, but at least the scant few who do play are impactful.
