2025 NFL Week 16

CMC officially over 1000 yards rushing...
Needs 15 more for a 100 yard game.....
Let’s get a couple nice catches also

McCaffrey has 85 yds rushing and 17 receiving, so he's over 100 yds from scrimmage for the game at the moment.

Looks like Kittle shaken up - hopefully nothing bad.

CMC now with 1,007 yards rushing on the year.
CMC moves to 65th all time in rushing, 7,394. Passing Jonathan Stewart, Michael Turner, and Mike Pruitt. He also tied Eric Dickerson on the TD list with his 96th. Good for a tie for 29th all time.

Awesome game! Purdy looks to be back completely. Such an underrated talent at the position. CMC is dominant!

That Colts defense is awful!

Imagine his numbers had he not missed approx. 2.5 seasons.
Passes Eric Dickerson with his 97 career TD. Right Warhawk. Almost like the Mike Trout of Football.
I would've like to have seen him pass John Riggins on the rushing list, but that's probably not going to happen. Hopefully he gets to 10,000 yards.

Yeah, Purdy is an elite QB. This San Fransisco team is going to be dangerous (if Kittle and Pearsall can be healthy) as they are rounding into form and Purdy is guiding this offense masterfully!

Rivers' throwing motion is awkward. It looks part throw, part shot put. Has he always thrown like that??
Many of his throws are a bit short.

Yea that was always his throwing motion. Passes are short because he is older, despite his throwing motion he had a great arm and a lighting fast release.

Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant. Rivers was out of football for 5 years. Both played like true pros tonight.

Considering the circumstances I wouldn't make a big deal out of Rivers' throwing motion. I always thought the obsession with Tebow's throwing motion was off-putting, especially when he was winning big games and no one nicknamed him "all he do is win" like they would with a magical high melanin haver.

Yes that has always been his throwing motion.

Purdy 25-34, 295 yards, 5 TDs
CMAC 21 carries, 117 yards, 6 rec., 29 yards, 2 TDs
Kittle 7 rec., 115 yards, 1 TD
Rivers 23-35, 277 yards, 2 TDs
Pierce 4 rec, 86 yards, 2 TDs
Warren 3 rec, 30 yards

Great game for our guys.

To add to McCaffreys Hall of Fame Resume I have a xmas wish. I want the Niners to not run him much but mainly throw to him in the
last 2 games so he can become the First NFL RB to ever have 2 seasons of 1000 yards rushing & 1000 yards receiving!

Rivers shaking off some rust - had a couple passes behind Warren that might have otherwise been caught.

Gotta remember he is 30 lbs overweight and was on the couch a few short weeks ago.
To me Rivers' footwork looks shaky. As they say in boxing the legs are the first to go. That's where the five years out of the game shows the most.

He needs to average about 76 yards a game; doable but a high task. Needs more opportunities for wheel routes or screens. Always baffles me why the 49ers don’t run more screens with him and his elite agility and burst.

I agree completely. His arm looks live but the footwork is suspect. To much chatter-stepping, like his is afraid of opening up lest he pull a groin or hamstring.

I hope that the 49ers just use him in the passing game the next 2 weeks. Really want him to have a 1k/1k season.

Can’t say enough about that game last night. Was very entertaining high level football.
