2025 NFL Week 16

C. J. Stroud with 110 yards passing against the wretched Raiders defense. It's almost incredible that castoff Jacoby Brissett may be the best black QB in the league this season.

Rooting for the Raiders to give the Texans the loss but betting on them under the Carroll/Smiff regime is truly a fools errand.

Hill had quite the day. A touchdown pass for 38 yards, 42 rushing yards and 36 receiving yards. A true all around talent even at his advanced age.

And speaking of the Saints, I enjoy them quite a bit with Shough over center. He looks like the other top QB rookie next to Jaxson Dart. And on defense the Saints gave significant snaps to quite a few White athletes today. Stutsman, Werner, John Ridgeway, Jonah Williams (had a sack) and Bresee.

Dart's regression under Kafka is a bit concerning. I hope that Kubiak the OC from Seattle gets a look. He's one of Gary Kubiak's two sons (his other son is the San Fran OC). The best thing for a White QB, especially a younger one is to learn from the Shanahan/McVay coaching tree. Much rather see that happen then a retread bum like Nagy or Cucksbury. Hafley is another new age caste cuck head coach candidate in the same vein of Cucksbury and LaFleur. He destroyed Boston College and then ran off to the Packers.

Wow, looks like a bogus offensive pass interference negates Detroit go ahead touchdown with 30 seconds left in the game…

It'll take a minor miracle for the Lions to make the playoffs now. Hopefully next season they incorporate TeSlaa into the offense a lot more.

Hats off to Aaron Rodgers. He's turning back the clock, playing really well the last few games now that he's recovered from the fractured left wrist he suffered earlier in the season. The Steelers are playing like they might win a playoff game or two this year after an eight year drought and that's what they brought Rodgers in to help them do.

High profile caste matchup tonight with Drake Maye up against Lamar Jackson. Go Pats!

Hopefully the Broncos can take the AFC West and the Jags the AFC South, and either the Broncos or Patriots get the first round bye. Chargers don't have much to root for outside the Herbert-McConkey connection.

Sometimes coaches can get too cute. Pats calling a fake punt on 4th and 10 from their own 44 went about as well (badly) as you'd expect. Without that late Ravens fumble New England might have given the game away. They should have been able to handle Baltimore much more easily, especially with backup QB Huntley in. Yes, Derrick Henry's a great running back, but teams have figured out how to stop him before.

Seems like all our demographically favorable playoff-bound teams (Pats, Bills, Broncos, Rams) have these little flaws somewhere or other that could come back to bite them. Meanwhile, the Eagles, though they have flaws too, they also have the refs on their side, having replaced the Chiefs as the Most Favored Team (by the Chosen).
