November football is here which means MACtion has returned. Frankly the MAC has been negatively impacted these past few years due to NIL, the transfer portal and recruiting outside of the traditional geographic footprint.

Tuesday

UMASS vs Akron
- Simply put UMASS stinks - they are 0-8. Silver lining is their leading two tacklers are lunch pail LBs in Timmy Hinspeter and Tyler Martin. Akron isn't much better and has been a traditional bottom dweller in the MAC. QB Ben Finley is one of those 6 year QBs still in college. He frankly has been mediocre his entire career but rooting for them in this game. The Zips do have a 3 star freshman QB Brayden Roggow that might become the starter next season if he sticks around in Akron.

Miami (OH) vs Ohio - Rooting heavily for the Bobcats in this one. Both teams are 5-3. The RedHawks have a 7th year QB who in his profile picture looks to be in his mid 30s. Not too much on offense for them but they have LB Corban Hondru leading the team with 3 INTs, Jackson Kuwatch is second on the team with 54 total tackles and LB Adam Trick may be a transfer portal target after displaying pass rushing prowess these past 2 seasons. Ohio features talented dual threat QB Parker Navarro, RB Duncan Brune and LB Michael Molnar leads the team in tackles.

Wednesday

Kent State vs Ball State
- On paper the Golden Flashes should have had a better season. QB Devin Kargman started in 2024 for a few games before being injured. They even brought in a black QB that had a good season at Fordham with a 26 to 1 TD to INT ratio but guess he could not hack it in the MAC. It does appear that Freshman QB Dru Deshields has solidified the QB spot with good play. They also feature two White RBs in Gavin Garcia and Cade Wolford. Garcia is the leading rusher on the team and Wolford has emerged as an explosive playmaker in the passing game. On defense the leading tackler is DB CJ Young. Ball State has absolutely nothing of interest, a real pathetic excuse for a MAC team.

Northern Illinois vs Toledo - The Rockets should have been the favorites in the MAC. They returned arguably the best QB in the conference in Tucker Gleason. RB Connor Walendzak has been an afterthought this season with only 29 carries after getting 128 in 2024, TE Jacob Petersen is the third on the team in receiving yards. On defense they have a huge LB out of Western PA Chris D'Appolonia who is 4th on the team in total tackles but I guess Pitt and PSU decided to ignore him. A player to look out for in the future. The Huskies frankly have not been good this season. LB Quinn Urwiler is in 3rd the country in tackles and LB Filip Maciorowski is second on the team but a good 40 tackles behind Urwiler.

Thursday

Ga Southern vs App State
- Pretty sure @Jimmy Chitwood said CB Chance Gamble is done for the year. Otherwise this game does not have too many interesting things going on from a caste perspective. Ga Southern has a solid QB in JC French, App St started the season with AJ Swann and then went to ISU transfer JJ Kohl with mixed results. LB Colton Phares leads the Mountaineers with 60 tackles.

UTSA vs USF - Rooting for McCown to have another big game for the Roadrunners. The caste coach for USF will probably be highly sought after for one of the P4 openings and bring his predictable brand of offense with him.

Friday

Houston vs UCF
- The Cougars suffered a huge upset against WVU last week. UCF is a typical Scott Frost led mediocrity. Weigman needs to have a turnover free game and hopefully Connors gets enough touches, he's got 3 games to hit 1k yards and is currently at 657 yards.

Northwestern vs USC - Tough Friday night game for the Wildcats. Can only hope their good defense will put up a challenge to the Trojans offense which did struggle some last week. Preston Stone needs to play clean football and hopefully WR Griffin Wilde gets involved in the passing game. Northwestern LB Mac Uihlein currently has 4 INTs. The Wildcats have several seniors on defense that are legitimate NFL players - Uihlein, DE Aidan Hubbard, DT Carmine Bastone.

Tulane vs Memphis - Along with USF, Memphis is the group of 5 media darling. A very dark team with no redeeming qualities. While Tulane isn't much better QB Jake Retzlaff is talented.

Saturday

Indiana vs PSU - The Nittany Lions played Ohio State tough in the first half in Columbus last week before the Buckeyes separated in the 2nd half. Not sure this a trap game but it may be closer than expected. Mendoza continues to play at the the highest level in the country along with a handful of other QBs and overall the Hoosiers are dominant. LB Aiden Fisher may return after being held out in the lopsided win last week.

UGA vs Miss St - Georgia struggled against a bad Florida team last week and required another late game comeback. Gunner Stockton certainly is an exciting QB but the Bulldog offense neglecting both Cash Jones and London Humphreys has gotten old.

BYU vs TTU - A lot of White talent for both teams in this Big 12 matchup with playoff implications. The Red Raiders were dominant against Kansas St and forced several turnovers. LBs Jacob Rodriquez, Ben Roberts and John Curry all made plays last week in the win as did giant DB Cole Wisniewski. Interestingly enough they are the 4 leading tacklers on the team. WR Coy Eakin has been quiet the past few weeks. For the Cougars the WR tandem of Chase Roberts and Parker Kingston is one of the best duos in the country.

Colorado vs WVU - Curious to see if QB Scotty Edwards can play well down the stretch and lay claim to the starting QB job for the Mountaineers. He was instrumental in last week's upset win over Houston.

Temple vs Army - Army has a stable of RBs but none have a shot at cracking 1k rushing yards. Their dynamic QB does have that chance though and it's hard not to root for the White service academy QBs with rushing prowess, they seem to have always shown up even during the darkest days of the caste system. The Black Knights currently sit at 4-4 so it would be great for them to get bowl eligibility.

Ohio St vs Purdue - If it weren't for Indiana I would say the Buckeyes are the most impressive team in the country. QB Julian Sayin is probably the best pure thrower of the football that has been seen in some time. The anticipation, accuracy and quick release are all there. Exciting player for the future. Rooting for DE Caden Curry to get a sack or two as well.

The Citadel vs Ole Miss - SEC teams scheduling FCS teams in November. It just means more.

Tulsa vs FAU - The Veltkamp-Messer connection needs to get back on track. Rooting for Messer to hit 1k yards.

Texas A&M vs Missouri - The Aggies are easily the most odious top 5 team currently. An upset here by the Tigers would be nice. I don't think Pribula will be back in time for this game.

Oregon vs Iowa - The "experts" are all hell bent on pushing the black Oregon QB into the top of the 1st round with some mocks making him the first QB taken. In the loss Oregon suffered at home to Indiana it was obvious that pressure on the QB is something he cannot handle. Iowa has the 2nd best total defense in the country and is stacked with NFL talent in their senior class- DT Aaron Graves, DE Max Llewellyn, DE Ethan Hurkett, LB Karson Sharrar are all NFL talents. The Iowa offense has not taken to the air like many of us hoped with QB Mark Gronowski transferring in but he has been able to get the job done with his legs. The Ducks of course have NFL talents LB Bryce Boettcher and S Dillon Thieneman.

Syracuse vs Miami - The season for the Orange was lost when QB Steve Angeli went out with an injury. QB Carson Beck has not done much to alleviate concerns about turnovers. Miami should win this game easily.

Duke vs UCONN - UCONN QB Joe Fagnanon is the most slept on QB in the country. Duke WR Cooper Barkate is the most slept on WR in the country.

Iowa St vs TCU - Hopefully the Horned Frogs have a leaky rush defense and Carson Hansen continues his hot streak. The Cyclones have certainly struggled in the second half of the season after a promising start. QB Josh Hoover for TCU should be able to throw all over the Cyclones defense which was awful last week.

Stanford vs UNC - Gulbranson hasn't taken advantage of his starting oppourtunity like I had hoped. Would be great to see him upset the "Genius" though.

Washington vs Wisconsin - The Badgers need to start Danny O'Neill at QB and let Yac get 15 carries.

Texas St vs Louisiana - The Bobcats need to get back on track for bowl eligibility and to ensure Pare gets 1k rush yards and Sparks hits 1k receiving yards.

Air Force vs SJSU - Should be an entertaining game. Falcons QB Liam Szarka is a big play option QB. Scudero had a monster game last week and is over the 1k receiving mark. I have to wonder if San Jose St QB Walker Eget is getting noticed by the NFL, he has had a good season and has all the tools.

Wake Forest vs UVA - Rooting for the Cavaliers all the way in this game. Surprise team of the year.

Cal vs Louisville - Miller Moss has the Cardinals at 14th in the country currently. Hoping for another win to rub salt in the wound for cuck riley at USC.

FSU vs Clemson - Must win for Clemson. The Tigers defense has been the achilles heel. Have to wonder if Dabo will be fired if they lose.

LSU vs Alabama - Tough game here, lots of implications for the NFL. I think Ty Simpson returns to Alabama next year but Nussmeier needs to play well down the stretch. I did however hear rumors of getting the other QB into the game as well for LSU and if that is the case I hope the Crimson Tide destroy the Tigers.

Navy vs Notre Dame - Should be another good matchup. Navy has the athletes to challenge the Notre Dame defense in dynamic QB Blake Horvath, WR Eli Heidenreich and RB Alex Tecza. ND QB CJ Carr has been getting better all season though, nice to see the Irish develop a QB instead of hit the portal. Seems like this decision will payoff for the next 3 years.

Florida vs Kentucky - Becoming a fan of Wildcats QB Cutter Boley.

Sam Houston vs Oregon St - It does not seem like the Beavers have any interest in getting Trent Walker to 1k yards and helping the kid's draft status. Bad look for a struggling program!

Appreciate the detailed breakdowns. Will be tuning into Maction next few days.

Wisconsin also needs to go back to Danny O'Neil and just give the kid the reps. If Edwards isn't healthy just play O'Neil. Simmons is not the answer.

Supposedly true freshman Carter Smith is a possibility.. At this point, eff it! Why not?! See what the kid can do.

Billy Edwards made between 500k-1million from Wisconsin. Played 3 drives. He made out like a bandit.

I was looking into Carter Smith and reading through comments it sounds like O'Neil has checked out mentally. Disappointing and not the right mentality to have. At this point throw Carter Smith into the chaos and see how he performs!

yeah O’Neil will likely be at his 3rd school next year as a true Jr. Needs to improve on working through his progressions, not 1 read and run.. Also Badgers QB Coach is Kenny Guiton.. Not exactly a wise veteran coach guiding you…

I’d say it’s Carter Smith time..

I still want Fickell gone. Holding out hope for a JL reunion or perhaps Pat Fitzgerald return to CFB!

Would be great to see either Leonhard or Fitzgerald at Wisconsin (or PSU) for that matter. Both of these men are capable of coaching a power 4 team.

Noticeably they are exempt from nearly every School’s Head Coach wishlist. The caste whore’s get the first crack at the big jobs..

Frustrating for sure. Didn’t realize JL was back with the Broncos and an assistant head coach.

Fitzgerald winning his lawsuit after the targeted career assassination and firing from Northwestern is all behind him.
