Awesome play. That sumo absolutely whiffed despite having those magical long arms. The Texas OL didn't do Ewers many favors tonight. Tough game for him.
100% Leonardfan. My friends here in NC are busting Ewers chops, but obviously this is not all on him. Although I love the play by Sawyer, I was pulling for Texas. Congratulations Ohio State and Notre Dame. Plenty of our guys to root for!

Yeah, great game-winning play by Sawyer for sure. With regard to the concept of "Caste Football," his strip-sack and 70+ yard return will surely be an immortal highlight in all the hype montages for the next 30 years.

The sumo RT looked incompetent - can't judge a guy off one play while being honest, but he had the pedigree to match up well. Some dumb-ass team is going to pick him earlier than they need to.

Definitely not Ewars fault on that strip sack by Sawyer.....The Sumo RT had problems all night long handling his business....Sawyer was just too fast, too good...

I dunno, he has "length", "size", "smooth feet", "long arms", etc. He will star in the underwear olympics and be a day 2 pick. Hopefully he'll go to a team with one of Leonardfan's black quarterbacks so we can see the QB's athleticism dodging the free rusher every play. ;)

And anyone gives a rat's ass what this guy has to say? You're probably one of the 25 people who have bothered to read the article.

Can't just ignore it and roll over. This is how we got where we are with the QB position.

National Championship game on tonight - Ohio St vs Notre Dame

Should be a pretty palatable affair. Much better than the NFL playoffs.

Cheering for Ohio State, but wouldn’t be upset if ND wins.

I'm leaning towards Notre Dame because of personal reasons. However seeing a white qb lead Ohio State to a National Championship
would still make me very happy. They also play a few more of our guys and have for a while especailly on defense for a long time now.

Wouldn’t mind ND but don’t want to hear about how great Freeman is. Plus Ryan Day has been through the ringer and want Howard to build some more draft buzz.

Hopefully both White QBs have great games. I am somewhat pulling for the Buckeyes just to get Will Howard a bit of a bump. Freeman has not at least taken the black head coach bait much to his credit but that does not mean the media will not use it to push the agenda. Still waiting on ESPN to write an article about Cam Skattebo after his brilliant all time performance against Texas and ask why colleges aren't recruiting White Rbs. I do hope Riley Leonard/Josh Allen comparisons get thrown around all game too.

Jack Sawyer has become an elite DE in the Karlaftis mold. Notre Dame has LBs Jack Kiser, Drayk Bowen, Joshua Burnham as starters with Donovan Hinish as a rotational interior DL. It's too bad Rylie Mills got injured as he was a force on the ND d-line this year. Ohio State has Jaden Curry on the d-line. So defensively ND is much more White friendly.

Entertaining game. Both QBs played well. Notre Dame's offense hampered Leonard's ability this season to an extent as a passer. Can't really complain though as both QBs fared well tonight.
