    2025 San Francisco 49ers

George Kittle and Ricky Pearsall are both questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears. It's amazing that the Niners have done as well as they have, considering their never ending injuries this season.

    High Schoolers

I've come across a couple of South African youngsters worth mentioning here. Jaydon Fairlie is 15 years old and has PBs of 10.59, 20.80, and 46.81. I believe, his 200m and 400m times are SA U16 records. Jaydon Fourie is 16 years old and has PBs of 10.73, 21.40, and most impressive, a LJ best of...

    2025 NFL Week 16

Rivers' throwing motion is awkward. It looks part throw, part shot put. Has he always thrown like that?? Many of his throws are a bit short.

    Forgotten White Athletes?

Great race! Thank you for sharing. The German men used to be very, very good in many track events. Unfortunately, they have fallen off a cliff over the past 20 or so years.

    2025 San Francisco 49ers

Update on Ricky Pearsall who was injured again on Sunday. The injury was "re-aggravating his PCL injury while also dealing with an ankle sprain." The Niners are not sure of his status yet for next week. Unfortunately Pearsall seems to be a bit fragile.

Puripol Boonson followed up his outstanding 100m win, with a great win in the 200m. His time was 20.07 with only a very slight wind of 0.2. Maybe he will be ready for the biggest stages in the sport this coming year.

    2025 Track Results

The indoor track season is just getting started, so results are sparse. However, sophomore Mia Shepard at UC Santa Barbara, looks like she might have a break through year. She just set school records in the indoor 200m and 400m - 24.09 and 52.93...

    2025 Track Results

Do you guys remember Puripol Boonson from Thailand. Ran a real fast time as a teenager, but hadn't lived up to his potential? Well he just ran a 9.94 (0.7w) Asian U20 Record in the heats (equal #5 world U20 all-time) of the Southeast Asian Games. He followed that up with a 10.00 (-0.5) to win...

Looking at the end of the year lists, I noticed that it was a very fine year for Japanese sprinting. In Asia, the top 4 times in the men's 100 meters were produced by Japanese sprinters: Yoshide Kiryu 9.99 Sorato Shimizu 10.00 Yuhi Mori 10.00 Hiroko Yanigita 10.00 That's quite a relay team...
