An interesting result from this weekend: Peyton Bair, a decathlete at Oregon, and brother of HS sprint sensation, Gaitlin Bair, ran 6.61 60m, coming in a close 3rd at the Don Kirby meet in Albuquerque. The time is altitude assisted, but it's noteworthy that he ran against and beat top sprinters...

His time of 6.54 is =4th in the NCAA this season. You can see the race here on the 2nd page of this Instagram post:

At the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson, Trey Cunningham ran an amazing 7.37 in the 60m hurdles. That's #7 all-time! Chance Cross of Kennesaw State ran 6.54 in the 60m. It was the fastest time of the day, beating some big guns from the SEC and other conferences.

Sophomore, Jake Palermo of Penn State, won the University 400m race at the Tyson Invitational, with a great time of 45.33.

It's a long video because of all the false starts. Go to the last minute or so, to see the actual race.

Just watched the race online. There were 4 false starts. So the race wasn't run until the 5th try! I have to think that affected everyone's performance.

Some great results in Serbia today. Bozhidar Saraboyukov of Bulgaria jumped a World Leading 8.45m. Amy Hunt equalled her PB in the 60m with a time of 7.09. Dominik Illovszky of Hungary won the 60m in 6.52. Jakub Szymanski of Poland won the 60m hurdles in a great time of 6.43.

Michael Maguire, 15 yrs old from Great Britain, jumped an incredible 7.69m to break the British U17 indoor record. That jump also makes him the World U18 leader. Again, he's only 15 years old.

Bozhidar Saraboyukov of Bulgaria, jumped an =World Leading Long Jump, of 8.39m today in France.

I think he should get out of LA. Between Luka, Lebron, and Austin Reeves, there's really no room for him to showcase his talents.

Attila Molnar of Hungary, broke the European indoor 400m record today in Ostrava. His time, 45.01. Meanwhile, Lieke Klaver ran a world leading time of 51.00 in the women's 400m. Pia Skrzyszowska of Poland ran a world leading time of 7.78 in the women's 60m hurdles.

Trey Cunningham ran a world leading time today of 7.42 in the 60m hurdles at the Razorback Invitational. Jakub Szymanski of Poland is the world #2 with a time of 7.48.
