USC freshman, Jack Stadlman, won the Big Ten 400m Championship in 45.44. George Franks of Miami won the ACC 400m Championship in 45.27.

Unfortunately, it looks like our 2 best women's collegiate sprinters are both injured. Victoria Cameron ran in the 200m heats at the WAC Championships, but skipped the 100m heats, and now is not listed for 200m finals. Big bummer. Meanwhile, at the Big 10 Championships, Mia Brahe-Pedersen did...

The only white American sprinter to speak of in the 1970s, was Mark Lutz. He was from Minnesota and ran for the University of Kansas. He made the 1976 US Olympic team in the 200m, but unfortunately didn't perform well at the Olympics (injury?). Here he is at the 1973 USA Championships in 220...

Keegan Hicks was 3rd in 10.49. He won the Long Jump (24ft 4-3/4in), and ran a great anchor leg on the 4x400m relay to win that event as well. Unfortunately, don't know his split time, but it was fast! Jett Taylor was 2nd in the 100m in 10.48, and Kade Kram was 4th in 10.53.

Camden Capehart of Texas, who we talked about last year, just ran 10.02 (+1.9 m/s) at the Texas UIL State Championship !!! That is HS #6 All-Time 100m !! (some sources are saying #7 AT). He also broke the Texas 3A record in the 200m running 20.48...

Luke Schroeder of University of Wisconsin La Crosse, just set an D3 NCAA record in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 13.32 (1.3w).

Bronson Hearn Smith dropped his PB down to 10.47 this weekend. He's still just 16 years old. He really looks like he is just jogging, but he is moving!

Stephanie Castenada set an Oregon HS record in the 400m of 52.17. That's US #4.

Abram Reagan of Texas ran a 45.81 400m in the state regionals. That makes him #3 in the US.

Jenna Prandini is 33 years old now, and still she ran a 10.97 (0.4w) to win the 100m at the Desert Classic today. Amazing! She came back a few hours later to win the 200m in another great time of 22.36 (-0.1w).

The Australian men run a World Lead and were the fastest qualifiers in the 4x400m relay. Their time was 2:57.30. I would assume that time is also a National Record. Mastermulti should be pleased with that performance.

Leendert Koekemoer, still just 18 years old, just a South African U20 record in the 400m, recording a fantastic time of 44.96.
