    Decathlete Simon Ehammer of Switzerland, won the Diamond League Long Jump Final in Zurich today. His jump was an excellent 8.32 meters. Tentoglou of Greece came in last of the 6 competitors. He seems to be off this season for some reason.

    Speaking of the call . . . "I've just been informed by Brendan Foster, that's a new Gateshead Harriers record." You think?! Longest jump ever, and it's a new record for the Gateshead Harriers track club back in England. Hilarious! But he says it completely matter of fact.

    Here's some surprising, but good news: Elliot Jones of Great Britain, ran 10.04 (1.9w) in Stratford today. His previous PB was 10.20. He had also run a windy 9.93 (3.7w) in June.

    At the Athlete Night Games in Japan, Hiroki Yanagita won the 100m in 10.00 (+0.3), a 0.02s PB. Yuki Koike was 2nd in 10.08 SB. In the Men's 200m final, Asian champ, Towa Uzawa, won easily in 20.11 (+0.9).

    Instagram is reporting that 15 year old Bronson Hearn Smith ran a 20.90 200 meters. If that's true, he would rank #1 U18 in Europe!
