A nice article about Camden Capehart's 10.02 at the Texas 3A High School Championships. They call it, "one of the greatest performances ever seen at the UIL state meet." https://tx.milesplit.com/articles/650044/camden-capehart-us-no-7-a-t-wind-legal-100m-1002-10

Unfortunately, it looks like our 2 best women's collegiate sprinters are both injured. Victoria Cameron ran in the 200m heats at the WAC Championships, but skipped the 100m heats, and now is not listed for 200m finals. Big bummer. Meanwhile, at the Big 10 Championships, Mia Brahe-Pedersen did...

    Forgotten White Athletes?

The only white American sprinter to speak of in the 1970s, was Mark Lutz. He was from Minnesota and ran for the University of Kansas. He made the 1976 US Olympic team in the 200m, but unfortunately didn't perform well at the Olympics (injury?). Here he is at the 1973 USA Championships in 220...

Keegan Hicks was 3rd in 10.49. He won the Long Jump (24ft 4-3/4in), and ran a great anchor leg on the 4x400m relay to win that event as well. Unfortunately, don't know his split time, but it was fast! Jett Taylor was 2nd in the 100m in 10.48, and Kade Kram was 4th in 10.53.

He will be attending Mississippi State next...

The Australian men run a World Lead and were the fastest qualifiers in the 4x400m relay. Their time was 2:57.30. I would assume that time is also a National Record. Mastermulti should be pleased with that performance.

    Matthew Boling 9.98, 19.92, 44.84 and 8.25 LJ

I personally would really like Boling to take up the long jump seriously. His sprinting days are over. The rest of the world has caught up and moved past him, while he has faded. But the Long Jump is still a place where he could earn medals. Especially now, as it is a weak event in the US at...

    Nikola Jokic 2021,2022 & 2024 NBA MVP

Without digging too deep into the statistics, what I found most impressive about Jokic's season is that he lead the league in both rebounds per game and assists per game. I'm sure that no one has ever lead the league in both categories before. Truly, a versatile, unique, and well-rounded player!

Victoria Cameron ran her first 200m of the outdoor season and won in 23.05 with no wind. A very good time, but it seems she is more of a 100m sprinter.

    Matthew Boling 9.98, 19.92, 44.84 and 8.25 LJ

The results are incomplete, so I can't be sure, but it looks like Boling split 49.05 on the anchor leg. That's actually terrible.
