"Coping with sudden adjustments is something to which the 6-foot-5 offensive lineman has become accustomed. Keith, who said this week he has dropped his weight to 335 pounds, was born in Texas and raised in McAlester, Okla.
He was rated the No. 2 player in Oklahoma coming out of high school in 2002 and signed to play at Oklahoma. But he didn't immediately qualify academically and headed to Northeast Oklahoma A&M College for two years.
Keith returned to OU in 2005, but not feeling comfortable with the program, he left without ever playing a down for the Sooners. He had run-ins with Oklahoma's strength coach...
A suspension ensued for Keith, who eventually received his release and played out his final two years of eligibility at the University of Northern Iowa.
But even in Iowa, issues afflicted Keith. Following a pair of productive seasons for Northern Iowa, he was arrested in March in Cedar Falls and charged with rioting, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts after police were called to break up fights at a party he was attending. Prior to the arrest, he was Tasered."
