Brazilians are dominating the prelims right now. Hopefully Stipe leaves tonight with some hardware!

Demian Maia just put on a jiu jitsu clinic against Matt Brown. Dominant performance he's a force at welterweight. Brazilians went 5-0 in prelims ...I'm going to try and find a link to watch main card!

The funny thing is Miocic also works a full time job as a firefighter. Surprise he has the time to train.

No heavyweight has defended the title more than twice in quite some time. After last nights performance, Stipe has a chance to really put together some title defenses! Looks like his first challenger will be Overeem the roider.

A million congrats to Stipe Miocic for his amazing win! He is the first white UFC Heavyweight Champion since Brock Lesnar lost the strap nearly 6 years ago. Since then, white fighters Frank Mir and Shane Carwin have been "Interim" Heavyweight Champions, but never undisputed. The Brazilian, Werdum (a jujitsu master with nice striking skills), is one tough SOB with loads of experience. I've followed Stipe for many years and it's so great to see his hard work validated with gold. Quite simply, the man did his race proud at UFC 198...

I always found this farcical wrestling act amusing because it's Cleveland but this is no longer true......https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToheU0VFPSM

Ps. Is Buffalo next?

What's more is many of these modern (WWE) sports "entertainers" (like that long haired Rollins kid) would have summarily gotten their @$$es handed to them by old "shooters" like Lou Thesz & Danny Hodge...and legit brawlers like Harley Race & Bruiser Brody. In a street fight that Rollins punk would be collecting his teeth from the ground.

I like, and share, your optimism but the nature of the sport is that no one holds a title for long; everyone loses; a good record is 75% wins and 25% losses. Just simply can't win 'em all. Best they can hope for is lose by decision and not take too much damage.

Congratulations Stipe!!! So happy for him as he seems like an allround good guy.
I hope if his next fight is against Overeem he wins in similar spectacular fashion.
Hey from Croatia originally right? So how about, instead of "Crocop" he gets the nickname "Crofire", because he works for the fire Dept. (Just kidding :D)
