https://www.hogshaven.com/2020/9/5/...lity-salary-and-more-washington-football-team Trying to put a somewhat positive spin on this - there are 16 PS spots per team. Hopefully a good number of our guys end up on PS rosters and through injury make it to the 53 man roster at some point. I am not delusional but I am trying not to be completely negative. We all know plenty of undeserving blacks will be gifted PS spots.
Too bad no one outside of this site will take this and run with it. They won't champion the cause of White RBs as they do with the black qb propaganda.
How Dwayne Haskins made the Steelers roster when Will Grier, Kyle Lauletta and Shane Beuchele were all cut is asinine.
Just like in the real business world they call it "Affirmitive Action". May the least qualified applicants get the jobs and positions. White replacement worldwide.
As always, it's disheartening to see some of those cuts. Miami hasn't really used Laird so it's not surprising but someone like Sills was projected to make the team and some impact, potentially. Here's hoping that Nall catches on somewhere, but realistically, what are the odds?
Packers keep 3 DL in Lowry, Lancaster, and Heflin! Kumerow made it for the Bills! Tom Kennedy survived in Detroit!
Was really hoping they’d keep Heflin, hope he gets a lot of playing time! Rams did they same thing keeping Greg Gaines, Jonah Williams, and Michael Hoecht.
So here is a pretty comprehensive list - I think I hit all the DBs, DL, LBs, WRs, RBs that were cut along with the more noteable names at QB/TE. Imagine the difference if these guys were on rosters. There is no doubt in my mind that each of these players is better than a black at the same position that made their team. Two of the worst receiving corps in the league too. I will be actively rooting against the Saints and the Texans (until they bench Idler Arm for Mills).
A number of absolute personal disappointments here with Hogan, Hansen, Hollister, Sills leading the way. It amazes me that someone like Nall, with his talent, would let himself be kicked in the teeth so many times and keep coming back to Chicago. Probably really bad representation, mentoring at the end of the day. Also, you could not get a better teammate, professional and person than Patrick Laird. If the CF brethren didn't know, he led the Dolphins in YDS/ ATT @ 5.5 per carry among RB's in 2020 with limited action. He is also a great receiver. Hopefully some of these guys will either get signed to PS or picked up by other clubs.
Ballage is comically bad most of the time. Looks like the Steelers will be starting an all-black o-line. The only positive is that Henry Mondeaux out of Oregon made the roster as a defensive end.
Geez are there any white WR’s left? lol there’s not a chance that all those guys shouldn’t have NFL jobs.
Lots of unsettling decisions - let me add that I’m shocked by John Harbaugh cutting maniac fullback Ben Mason from his brother’s Wolverines after drafting him in the 5th round (which was considered early but justifiable by every single post-draft analyst I could find). Yes, yes, Ricard is the entrenched pro bowl starter at an ill-used position, would hate for one to replace the other, and maybe they are only suitable on a roster for VERY pure quotaback offenses. So why burn that pick if it was a tryout? Then I learn that the Ravens cut Trace McSorley, who ran the read option better in college than their current billion-dollar flash named “Lamar.” Trace’s forty time was flaming too. Very deflating IMO. Thank you to the posters who documented these
There is a very real and concerted effort by the League and MSM in general to limit the amount of highly athletic white men. McCaffrey is a sure thing; he is allowed to shine because he is so dynamic they couldn’t keep a lid on it. It would expose their agenda too much. Jake Funk, he is with a coach that is generally pretty fair. Good situation. Nall should get scooped up by someone soon - would love to see the Vikings or Packers as he could rub it in the Bears faces twice a year. Also - I’m predicting injuries at the RB for both teams this year. Sandro should make their practice squad. Kid can fly and should get opportunity. Same for Cottrel - he should find a home as punt/kick returner given his 4.3 speed. Tampa would be a good place. Laird should find a home in New England or Buffalo (although I am praying the Bills draft Borghi next year). Laird is a jack-of-all-trades and would fit in nicely in NE. But we shall see.
Prissy Sean Payton didn't surprise at all with the move on Hogan. Chris Hogan needed to be on that team at this time. Ridiculous and weird.
Payton is as predictable a coach as there is in the league when it comes to where he "allows" Whites to play on the Saints. BTW, good to see you posting again QS!
