Since 2005, the Hokies have started 5, 5, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7,8, 7, and 5 white starters. Justin Fuente has proved to be even more of a caste disciple than Beamer was, and that's saying something. However, in a couple of shocking upsets, RS-Junior WR CJ Carroll will be starting for the Hokies in the slot this year!! And 6'5 TE Dalton Keene is starting as a true freshman, so he'll be a player to keep an eye on for Virginia Tech. On the line, veterans and multi-year starters Wyatt Teller and Eric Gallo return for their final years. Interestingly enough, Virginia Tech has another Asian lineman; combined with the two brothers who played there a few years back, I think VA Tech has started about as many Asian linemen as most of the other teams in the country.

On defense, DE Vinny Mihota is the only player on the two deep and only starter. He should make a nice impact though. Overall, not as bad as I first thought from the Hokies, managing to conjure up six palefaces to start for them. Backups are about non-existent on the team, as you've probably guessed by now. Center Zachariah Hoyt is the only white back-up on the whole team that is currently on the two-deep. Fuente is indeed a much worse caste whore than Beamer ever was. Expect the number of white starters to be 1-2 in two years after the current white starters graduate.
