Josy Bosa...just a Junior...is already drawing comparisons to J.J. Watt...at 6'-6" 275...could have been a 1st Round pick after last season; maybe #1 Overall for 2016' (Top 5 very least)

Scooby Wright's story is all too common as to WHY Recruiting Services would overlook him...

*D-Lineman to Watch*
Joey Bosa (jr.) - Ohio State
Anthony Zettell- Penn State
Adam Gotsis- Georgia Tech
Hunter Dimick (jr.)-Utah
Alex Balducci-Oregon
Pat O'Connor- Eastern Michigan
Christian LaCouture(jr.)-LSU
Clayton Callicutt - Angelo State...(small school sleeper)
Justin Hansen- Colorado State
Travis Seefelt-Utah State
Joey Ivie(jr.)-Florida

*LINEBACKERS*
Scooby Wright (jr.)-Arizona
Kelby Brown -Duke (so many injuries/6th year granted)
Tyler Matakevich -Temple...already three 100+ tackle seasons)
Kyler Fackrell(jr.)-Utah State (torn ACL last season opener)
Nick Kwiatoski - West Virginia
Joe Walker -Oregon (returned fumble for 100 yard TD)
Brooks Ellis (jr.) -Arkansas
Jackson Dillon (jr.)-Memphis...(intriguing prospect at 6'-6")
Richie Brown (jr.)-Mississippi State(3 INT's vs Texas A&M)
Michael Scherer (jr.)-Missouri

*DEFENSIVE BACKS*
Mike Caputo - Wisconsin (No way NFL Draft can avoid him)
Nate Gerry(jr.) - Nebraska (a natural safety)
Dillon Lukehart - Boise State
Jordan Simone - Arizona State (playmaker got injured/walk-on)
Matt Dobson - Georgia Southern
CB-Kenny Buyers -North Texas

Yes indeed! Corner Back Kenny Buyers belongs on to this list....would like to see him get into an NFL Camp next season! They had better not try to convert him to safety!

William & Mary LB Luke Rhodes was named to the Butkus Award Watch List. The only FCS player on the list this year.

Colorado MLB Addison Gillam is one to keep an eye on.

He was a freshman All-American a couple of years ago and then had a bad bout with bronchitis last year as well as a couple of injuries and his weight dropped down to around 200 lbs. He's back to almost 230 lbs now and back to his old self. Should have a great year:

I just read an article on Arizona's draftable prospects and that fat caste slob Rob Rang has this to say about Scooby Wright:

Though listed at a prototypical inside linebacker size of six foot, 246 pounds, Wright does not possess an ideal build for the position. He possesses a bit of a "beach build" with a relatively slim lower half which causes him to struggle to anchor. His production was inflated by spinning off would-be blockers and tracking down ball-carriers in pursuit, as well the action being funneled to him in Arizona's unique 3-3-5 spread defensive alignment.

Beach Build - that's a new caste term - they get more and more ridiculous. Wright is a 250lb wrecking ball yet they have to pull something out of their ass to try and drag him down.

I really hope Jake Ganus can excel in UGAs 3-4 defense. His body of work speaks for itself while at UAB but the icing on the cake would be a strong senior year to help boost his draft stock!

This could be a really good year for our guys barring any serious injuries.Bosa, Zettel and Wright will probably be first team all Americans.Fackrell was getting Urlacher comparisons prior to his acl injury - hopefully he is back to 100%.

Wisconsin's ball-hawking secondary accounted for 3 interceptions today: 2 by free safety Leo Musso and 1 by safety/wide receiver/quarterback Tanner McEvoy, which he returned for 41 yards.

*************************

Utah's best defensive lineman is a White cat. their best defensive player is a White linebacker. yet the rest of their defense is filled with black dudes. "weird," huh?

************************

Toledo defensive end John Stepec was incredibly disruptive in the Toledo upset win at Arkansas. he was in the backfield nearly as much as the Razorback running backs. his stat line wasn't spectacular (4 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and 1 pass deflection), but he was arguably the most impactful player for the Rockets in the victory.

*************************

it was a BIG night for the Holley brothers of Kent State. safety Nate Holley had 3 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, 1 sack, 1 pass deflection, and 1 interception. (his brother, Nick, scored 2 touchdowns from his tailback spot.)

Ganus started against Vandy & had 6 tackles & an INT for UGA. :)

Nebraska sprinter-turned-safety Nate Gerry continues to be one of the nation's elite ballhawking defensive backs, snagging an interception in his second consecutive game to start the year.

Gerry, an impressive athlete (10.67 speed in the 100-meters and 21.52 in the 200-meters in high school), has picked off the opposing quarterbacks with regularity since assuming his place as the leader of the Blackshirts' secondary. he has amassed 7 interceptions in his last 11 games.

below, Gerry validates his overachieving blue collar status.

former walk-on turned best player on the defense, ASU defensive back Jordan Simone had a BIG game. he totaled a team-leading 10 tackles (7 solo), 2 tackles-for-loss, a sack, a pass deflection, and made a leaping interception in the endzone. sounds like just another of your typical, overachieving blue collar performances. imagine what he could do if he had dat upside!!!

Idaho State junior free safety Cody Sorensen was one of the few bright spots in the lopsided loss on Friday night to Boise State, but he showed that he clearly belongs on an FBS team. Sorensen finished with a game-high 15 tackles (11 solo) and repeatedly was the man making a touchdown-saving stop. it wasn't enough to keep Idaho State in the game, but it was an outstanding individual effort.

Illinois isn't very good, but they have two safeties who are.

ballhawking strong safety Taylor Barton has 3 interceptions through 3 games. he also has 2.5 tackles-for-loss, another pass breakup, and 8 tackles.

free safety Clayton Fejedelem is a tackling machine, finishing the shootout loss against North Carolina with a game-high 14 tackles (9 solo). the senior is far and away the team's leading tackler, with 26 tackles (16 solo) in just 3 games. while those are impressive numbers for a safety, that doesn't say much for the front 7 of the defense.

Georgia linebacker Jake Ganus had a BIG day on Saturday. first, he led the Bulldogs in tackles in their win over South Carolina. then, at the 50-yard line, after the game ...

Congrats to Ganus on the big game and getting engaged. I hope he is able to parlay his transfer to UGA into giving him national exposure and getting drafted.

Carl Nassib is the nation's sack leader at the quarter point with 7 (9 tfl). He also has an INT. Nassib has not been a full time starter until this year - his senior season.

Zettel has been as disruptive as well - he is continually talked about as a high motor tweener type player as they try to drag his stock down. Through 4 games this year he has 19 tackles, 5 tfls and half a sack. He lost his father on friday and played very well yesterday and had his biggest game of the year with 7 tackles, 2.5 tfls and half a sack. With the state of mediocre defensive line play Zettel SHOULD be a second/third rounder at the latest in next year's draft.

Penn junior linebacker Donald Panciello was named the FCS National Defensive PoW after helping the Quakers to their first-ever road win over a Top 5-ranked school, Villanova (ranked #4).

Panciello scooped up a fumble and returned it 90 yards for a game-changing, fourth-quarter touchdown on Thursday night. he also led Penn with 8 tackles (7 solo) and had a pass breakup, but his fumble return touchdown was likely the play of the game. to quote a recap:
With seven minutes remaining, Penn led 17-7, but the host Wildcats had 1st-and-goal and were poised to close within a possession. That was until Panciello picked up a fumble and sprinted 90 yards to slam the door on one of the biggest wins in school history.

the upset win snapped Penn's 104-year drought to the cross-city rivals. that's right, the Quakers hadn't defeated Villanova in 104 years!!! wow!
