Here is a video of the prelims heat 4 with the most exciting white hurdler I've ever watched and he is only gonna get better. I'm excited to
see what he does in the semi finals and finals. I feel a few more new personal bests are very close. I really want to see Shubenkov go sub
13 to announce to the world that he is one of the top 3 or 4 mens 110 hurdlers on earth.

He left more on the table. If he was on form he beats the American Mulatto for silver. I don't think he had enough to beat PED abuser Oliver(but then again who does).

I'm pumped that he won a medal but to be honest I thought he would run alot faster. It was great to see Shubenkov beat Oliver in the
semi finals but he probably should have just not worried about winning that and saved a little more energy for the finals. I can't remember
the last time a white guys won a medal in the 100 hurdles at a world champs or olympics. I'm guessing at least two decades. Does anyone know the answer? If not I might have to do some research. Congreats to Shubenkov. A european champs gold medal and a world champs bronze medal. A good year if you ask me.

The womens 100 was disapointing. At least the mens 400 heats were fun to watch. Borlee and Maslak both went in the high 44 seconds
range with Maslak setting yet another new national record! The final is going to be exciting.

The hurdles have many weird races where guys grab a bronze through attrition, because of falling or lane interference. I recall a White Brit grabbing a bronze a few years back from one of those situations. Back in Atlanta perennial 4th place finisher Florian Schwartzhoff grabbed a bronze in a lean situation like the Russian did today. Ps How quickly we forget Andy Turner won a bronze in this situation in Korea in 2011.....:hand:

The praise from the British media of drug test dodger Christine Ohuruogu is getting quite sickening and comments from the sheeple saying she did great as well.
Most of the medals won by the blacks have come from Yamaica, Yamerica and Britain, whose athletes all have access to the latest drugs. Africans from Africa haven't actually won that many medals.

The comments on here just keep getting more & more ridiculous.

Why don't other 1st world Countries such as Italy, France, Germany etc have access to all these "latest drugs", can't they afford them? but a 3rd world Country like Jamaica can.

Most of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies are based in the US, so they get 1st access to the latest drugs. Jamaica has no out of season drug testing, so it is a great place to experiment with the latest drugs, the Jamaican athletes are just guinea pigs, who knows what side effects the drugs they are taking may have in 20 years time.
We all know about Angel Heredia the strength and conditioning coach moving to Jamaica after the BALCO scandal to train Jamaican athletes.

I was a little disapointed that Borlee faded and missed a medal by .002 but he still ran a good race. Santos just closed good and I happy
for him. He is only 20 years old and he has had a great year. Even Pavel Maslak ran back to back high 44 second times in the semi fnals
and finals. With guys like Maslak and Santos, the future is bright and the Borles brothers are not done yet either. It's a damn shame that
known drug cheat L. Merrit wins another gold medal. With guys like him and Gatlin still being allowed to compete after such short bans it is
enough to make you sick. I can't wait for the IAAF to move back to a four year ban for all drug cheats. They should have never went down
to two years. If I had my wish, the ban would be 5-6 years minimum. If you cheat, you mine as well get another career. That is how it
should be.

Anyways, congrats to these guys for taking 3 or the top 5 spots in the finals of the 400 meters.

Blacks have so far won the sprint golds as they have for the past 30 years but Whites continue to dominate the strenth and power events.Robert Herting a 6'7 270 lb German won gold in the discus today his third world championship gold to go with the Olympic gold he won last year.World class discus throwers have serious power and needless to say all medals in the event went to white men.

The hammer throw was won by Pole Pawel Fajdek with all the medals going to white men.The shot put is yet to come and that will almost certainly be white dominated.

Zeus has been banned from this board twice and he is walking a very narrow line. We need to stay away from the type of language that you
are both using. It will be taken care of. There is no reason to scare new members away from the board due to a few using language that is not allowed. Do remember however that this board is to support european athletes but without having to think we are superior.

The mens 800 was entertaining as well with our guys taking 2 of the top 4 finishers in the world. Congrats to Nick Symonds on a very
well deserved silver medal. He waited a long time and fought hard. He deserves it.

James had a puzzling fade down the stretch. Maybe the killer pace that PED abuser Merritt took the field out to robbed James of his legs. One of the keys to the 400 is to run your own race and not worry about somebody at the front who is drag racing out to crazy splits. I don't know much about McQuay so I'm not going to disparge him, It would have been nice to see Borlee to win the bronze. Maybe he can still win it down the line, if you get my drift....:undecided:

I would have preferred Borlee to get the bronze instead of Santos. He was so close.... but that's how it goes. It's amazing how often 1 or 2/100ths of a second can decide a race or a medal.

Meanwhile, big congratulations to Nick Symmonds for his silver medal in the 800m. He's been the top American for many years now in the 800m, and now he's in the medals at the World level.
Very happy for him!

The mens long jump is exciting too. Most of our guys made it though except for a couple. I really want to see Menkov win the gold medal.

The Mens Heats for the 200 Meters starts tonight. It's a shame Christophe won't be able to compete since he had an excelent chance of winning a medal. His father said that he was running as fast as 19.60 in the practices a week ago! That would have been incredible to have watched. Here is to a very speedy recovery for Christophe.

Some of the guys we like will still be there. Granted I don't see any of them outside of Gemelli making the finals but maybe someone will shock me. I still will enjoy rooting for our guys. Gemeli should be able to get down to sub 20.20 in my opinion. Other guys to watch are a guys from Greece, Poland,Spain, Slovenia and Russia. There are also a couple of guys from China & Japan. Hopefully some of these young guys willl get the experience they need for future champs down the road. Here is a link to the complete starting lists for the mens heats tonight. Other than Gemeli, the other guy to watch down the road closely is Karol Zalewski. Tskanos of Greece is also very talented.

For those of you who missed it, Adam Gemeli ran his opening heat in a blazing time of 20.17 for a new p.b. He looked great and he has
alot left in the tank. I expect another p.b. in the semi finals later today. Tskonas and Zalewski also went through along with a few other guys we are rooting for. Gemeli should make the finals and if he could finish in the top 5 or 6 guys in the world, that would be great. Remember that he is still only 19 years of age.

Good run from Gemili in the 200 just now. Btw in the US, has there been much said about Isinbayeva's comments supporting the recent Russian laws banning the promotion of homosexuality to children? Here in Britain (probably the world's worst place for mincing adherence to the gay lobby) the presenters were blathering on about how dreadful it was, and I saw a call for her to lose her role as a youth Olympic ambassador. What I found particularly laughable was that they claimed she was out of step with "the world". Er, Russia, Africa, the Islamic world, India, China....haven't seen too many pink parades there. But I guess they don't count in the eyes of the butt brigade.

Really irritates me how sport is used over here to push a left-wing political agenda: the large number of blacks involved is used to promote mass third world immigration (as if one fast runner makes up for 10,000 violent gangsters and welfare mouths), and athletes are wheeled out to act as mouthpieces for the latest leftist fad, with the implicit threat of losing sponsorships and being smeared by the media if they fail to comply. Where blacks are underrepresented there is hand-wringing and media bleats for "equality"; where whites are underrepresented there is silence (kinda similar to the quarterback/cornerback issue in the NFL I think). Total hypocritical BS.

I love what Isanbayeva said and I couldn't agree more. Too bad we live in the times we do. Someday in the future being a straight male or female will be considered boring or at least that is what they want you to believe. I guess people everywhere should just quit having babies because no man/man or woman/woman is ever doing that with out a doctor & a test tube. Unnatural and always will be.

As if we needed more reasons to like this wonderful woman! She's easily my favorite female athlete in any sport at the moment. A world-class performer, beautiful, educated, culturally/racially aware, and fully realizes that the homosexual agenda and it's propaganda to children and the rest of any normal, sane nation is poisonous. I'm glad she made those comments and hope she doesn't back down an inch. As for the World Championships, the TV coverage here in the US is non-existent. After I lost Universal Sports from my cable line-up, the only place I get to follow track is online thru Youtube, etc. Moscow has been a mixed back so far. I'm extremely disappointed for Christophe and would could have been. There have been a bright spots here and there, but overall, the success of white athletes has been below my expectations.

Bruno Hortelano set a new Spanish National Record of 20.47 in the 200m heats. There was no wind in his heat so hopefully with a bit of tailwind he'll be able to improve that time a bit as well.
