2025 NFL Preseason

Bachman of the Raiders with some sort of non-contact leg injury.
Throws his helmet down in frustration.

I was just gonna mention how bad I feel for Bachman before his injury, always out there in the preseason, always looking good, but destined to never get an opportunity in the regular season. Bachman=Tom Kennedy=Andy Isabella, jerked around and jerked around before eventually running out of chances to be training camp fodder. The silver lining, if there is one, is that there are fewer White receivers getting this treatment than previously.

RB Will Shipley with a nice burst gain of 38 yards vs Bengals

https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/video/highlight-will-shipley-rushes-for-a-38-yard-gain-vs-bengals

Found this too..."Burst" is used like my post

Of late there has been a strong hive mind media push to promote A. J. Dillon as having a good chance to surpass Shipley as the Eagles' backup to Barkley. So ridiculous as Shipley is better by any measurement, not to mention being younger. The lumbering Dillon has gotten worse every year in the NFL and missed all of last season, but dat upside.

This writer is the rare one on target: https://lombardiave.com/eagles-taking-huge-risk-packers-fans-already-know-fail

I think the pendulum is swinging to Shipley ..on NFL Network they said he was an "upgrade" at back up RB

#23 RB Dylan Laube TD Catch for the Raiders! Also just returned a Punt

Nice long TD pass by Cam Miller, hopefully he can developed and get those balls a little deeper

Nice to see Laube and Shipley get some early action in preseason.

Bachman a career long caste system victim gets hit with an injury…:damn.

Hudson Clark makes 4 tackles, not sure if he lined up at S or CB.

McKee should be a starter in the league.

Connor O’Toole with a sack for Seattle

Couple rookies with nice debuts.

TE sensation Tyler Warren caught all 3 of his targets for 40 yards. I don’t see why he can’t thrive immediately like Bowers or LaPorta the last couple seasons did.

For the Eagles, their 4th round pick Ty Robinson out of Nebraska had a great game. 2 pressures, a sack and general good awareness (snuffed out a screen play). The Eagles seem to make smart moves and Robinson looks like one of them. It’s a travesty that more White men are not playing DT. It should easily be an 80-90% White position instead of the inverse.

DT and CB is how they flood the league with mediocre blacks.

Good to see another Eagles overachiever panning out.

Definitely happy with the raiders first pre season game, on defense we saw Hudson Clark playing S for much of the game leading the team with tackles, and LBs Cody Lindenberg and Tommy Eichenberg playing much of the game. Jack Bech and QB turned WR Tommy Mellot both had a catch, and very upsetting seeing Bachman look awesome and go down with a non contact injury, he’s 29 so a missed season may be the end of his career.

Dylan Laube looked great leading them in YPC and a nice touchdown, Cam Miller looked awesome at QB, his TD pass was phenomenal.

Seahawks had Bobo with a couple catches and John Rhys plumlee doing some return work. A bunch of TEs out there too making plays. Their new fullback Robbie Outz had a long catch. On defense they had LBs Connor Otoole, Drake Thomas, and Patrick O’Connell playing much of the game.

I want to note Seahawks safety Ty Okada played, and he always looks really fast and and seems to be a ballhawk. I believe he’s been elevated to the active roster before, I think the staff actually likes him. He may not start on the active roster but I think he’s here to stick around and hopefully get a shot someday.

WR David Sills 15 yard catch for the Falcons...at age 29 now much time does he have left; down the Depth Chart
One time Prodigy 7th grade QB recruited by USC

Browns Rookie LB (ex UCLA Walk on ) Carson Schwesinger looking solid with fellow Rookie D-Tackle Mason Graham
Local Kent State WR Luke Floriea Returning Kick offs & Punts

Let me go Big Unreal: Shadeur Sanders’ epic slide down the draft was the biggest story of the draft. Unprecedented and kept the viewership well beyond the 1st round. Pickens and Brooks both mysteriously sustain minor hamstring strains. Sanders moves up from 4th string and gets to start the first preseason game making it “must watch” TV, even though everyone hates preseason football. Sanders throws his first TD while 2 defenders with a play on the ball just half ass jump and let it through. The NFL is a business, not a purely competitive sport.

All that said, the Panthers’ cheerleaders are amazing. No dudes, trannies or fatties. It’s an entertainment league.

And a total glaze fest by the NFL Network. You couldn’t have scripted it any better. And anybody here at caste football that wants to argue that the NFL systemically discriminates against White players, but otherwise is an unscripted pure competitive meritocracy…you’re a hypocrite.

Check out this snag by Undrafted Rookie WR Luke Floriea 5'-8" 179lbs ...
maybe tweaked a quad or hammy stretching out; went to medical tent

I saw Shipley’s nice run and Laube’s TD catch. I’m now focusing on the second half of the Pats game to see if Larison gets a bunch of carries. Skat has a hammy, not sure if he’s playing tomorrow. Looking forward to the season fellas......

A lot of our fringe guys on the Browns and Patriots had good games tonight. Hopefully it helps their chances to land a roster spot.

For the Browns their 4 leading receivers were White athletes:
TE Sal Cannella (Auburn alum) had 3 catches for 32 yards.
The aforementioned Luke Floriea with the 1 catch for 30 yards.
TE Brenden Bates (Kentucky) with 2 catches for 30.
WR Kaden Davis had 3 catches for 23 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Then late in the game, former Miami Ohio WR Cade McDonald had a short touchdown as well.

For the Pats, our two big UDFA signings did not disappoint.

Efton Chism III was the leading receiver with 6 catches for 50 yards and the TD. He was also used to return punts. Lan Larison had 7 carries for 35 yards and a TD with a few catches and kick return.

Lan Larrison with 7 rushes for 36 yards and 2 receptions for 9 yards. He had the 2nd most carries of their running backs.

Maybe he will bring back memories of Danny Woodhead.

So far I’m really happy with pre season production, there was at least one disappointing injury but I’ll take it, our guys are looking good. I really think things are on the up and up for our guys. It’s complicated though. I think we’re taking a step in the right direction with skill positions but losing ground with linemen and QB

Efton Chism was very impressed with his production and highlight plays tonight. He is in both a good spot and bad in that McDaniels utilises his skillet alot in his playbook and we all know the history of the Patriots white receivers....but there is a log jam there after a few years of being rubbish outside of 2nd round pick Jalynn Polk who has been awful, alot have shown up in camp and been good esprcially Douglas who is the slot guy. If Chism plays like he is though don't think he gets through waivers so may force Patriots hands to keep him.
