2025 Akron Zips

Joe Moorhead is in his 4th year at Akron. He’s 8-28. They were 7-47 previous 4 years. So he’s made some progress. Weird team to figure out, they start an all sumo OL with an all Snowplow backup unit. Since 2006 10,9,9,8,7,9,8,8,8,7,6,7,6,5, 6, 6, 7 and 3 White athletes have started for the Zips. In 2024 the Zips are projected to start 4.

Looks like 4 this season. Keep an eye on injuries/repalcements along that OL and LB Cam Hollobaugh!

OFFENSE

QB Ben Finley RSr. 6’3 205 NCST and Cal transfer

TE Jake Newell RJr. 6’4 240 ASU transfer

DEFENSE

DE Bruno Dall RSo. 6’7 250 Native of Germany

MLB Gage Summers RSr. 6’0 235 Riverside CC transfer

Backups: QB Brayden Roggow, TE Conner Cravaack, Snowplow OL and LB Cam Hollobaugh(D2 Walsh college could push to be a starter.)
