6' 8" black "Frenchman" Mpetshi Perricard serves the fastest serve ever recorded at Wimbledon at 153 mph, which is returned by American Taylor Fritz who went on to win the point.

American Roscoe Tanner used to serve in the 150s in the '70s and early '80s but is forgotten now even though he won 16 singles titles and was ranked as high as 4th in the world.​
 
Naomi Osaka eliminated by the Russian Pavlyuchenkova. Osaka won 4 grand slam titles from 2018-2021 and was number 1 in the world. Then she went full BLM and became mentally ill. She is now irrelevant in women’s tennis.

Good to see that ESPN is still not showing the Russian flag next to the Russian players’ names. It’s important for the “World Wide Leader in Sports” to make geopolitical judgments and empty gestures. Interestingly, on their website when you look up the scores, they are displaying the Russian flag, just not on the television coverage.

It's disgusting. Kind of like anyone who thinks what is happening in Palestine is Genocide. They label everyone for misthinking. You must always obey the propaganda. I feel so bad for Russian Athletes in all sports & especially track & field!
 
Final 8 women are all White European (*Anisimova is Russian playing under the USA flag.).

Final 8 men are White Europeans plus White American Fritz, and mixed Shelton.

15.5/16 is outstanding in the most prestigious tournament in a sport of true meritocracy.

It's the way it should be. Wimbledon has always been a white showing of class for the last century. :)
 
Wimbledon reminds me of the Masters. Pure White excellence for superior sports events. Focused on tradition, pristine grounds, a top notch event. Leave your politics, wokeness, pride, and social justice at the gate. This event is untouched by the buffoonery.
 
Novak defeats 11th seed Alex De Minaur of Australia in four sets to advance to the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the 16th time. Yes, 16th time. The man is amazing. Hopefully he can win the championship again this year as despite his remarkable career Father Time catches up with all athletes eventually.

The great Roger Federer, wearing a suit and tie, was in the audience watching the match. Djokovic acknowledged him afterward. There's that Wimbledon tradition and class again.
 
Iga Swiatek skunks Anisimova 6-0 6-0 to win her first Wimbledon singles title and sixth major overall. That's the most slam titles by a White female player since Justine Henin's seven. Before that you have to go back to Steffi Graf who retired in 1999 with 22 of them.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz plays Jannik Sinner tomorrow in the men's final, which is a rematch of the French Open final. Should be a great match for those who get up early to watch it.

Personally I'm rooting for Jannik Sinner. We need to see another great Tennis rivalry. Djokovic is probably gonna retire after this summer. He played great making the semi finals at 38 years of age. I hope Jannik Sinner can bring home the Trophy!
