The Pacers seem to almost always win when they play Doug McDermott 30 minutes or more whether starting or off the bench. McDermott had 26 pts tonight. Watching him and Sabonis play together is a treat and the Pacers are on track
to make the playoffs. Sabonis will be an all star and TJ McDonnel always play good off the bench.

It's been a good season for so many of our guys. Especially the european players.

Luka Doncic is averaging 28 pts a game while Nikola Jokic is averaging 27 pts a game. Both of these guys also are close to averaging a triple double for the whole season. Amazingly talented all star baskeball players! :)

It would be cool to see them both get up to 30 pts a game. I don't think I've ever seen two of our guys average 30 pts per game in a single season before. Not to mention the chance of them both averaging a triple double. Incredible to think about.

In my lifetime we’ve been lucky to get two guys over 20 points per season.....

Idea for a new thread????

Like 1000 yard rushers....20 points per season guys......???????

Nikola Jokic with another monster game against the Celtics tonight. He had 43 pts! Jokic and Doncic should both be in the MVP Conversation. Lebron, Giannis and others are not at the level they are currently.

The NBA has been better than usual with so many of european stars just playing great basketball.

As of today I will just list the 2 of our guys who are in the top scorers in the NBA.

Luka Doncic 29.1 pts per game

Nikola Jokic 27.1 pts per game

Awesome to see Doncic and Jokic amongst the top tier!

Planet Pat dropped 20pts last night in a Bucks Loss! Donte D chipped in 12, which is about what he's averaging.

Skimming through the box scores noticed Jon Konchar has stuck around with Memphis as he is in his 2nd year. Getting about 17mpg averaging 4ppg and 4rpg. Good to see him in The NBA! Let's hope he can keep building on those numbers as the season goes.

Some big games again from some of our guys.

Domantas Sabonis 36 pts, 17 rebounds, 1o assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot. Not only a triple double but the kid does everything! :)

Nikola Jokovic 33 pts, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals playing for two days in a row and still ligthing up the box score!

Davis Bertans 35 pts, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal coming off the bench. This guy should be starting & it's sad how they use him.

Domantis Sabonis, a former Gonzaga Bulldog, gets far too little media attention than he should. i don’t follow the NBA at all, but i do keep tabs on former Zags from time to time and he is putting up INCREDIBLE numbers.

if my information is correct, he is on track to be only the third NBA player in HISTORY to average 20+ppg, 12+rpg, and 5+apg before the age of 25 (the others being all-time-great Oscar Robinson and the Greek Freak, Giannis Ante-something).

this season, Sabonis is currently averaging 21.1ppg.

Indy got a good one in Sabonis. And I agree, he's been criminally underated for years now, and he's only 25!

Tyler Herro had 27 pts last night. I love watching this kid play ball. So mature far beyond his years. All Star within 1 to 2 years at the most!

Impressive to see two white starters out of the Western Conference! I can't imagine Lebron is very happy about that.

For the East, I think Sabonis is the best candidate, but Vucevic from Orlando is likeliest to get a spot as a "true center." Gordon Hayward has an outside shot as Charlotte's top stat aggregator. Tyler Herro is still a season or two away from contention but could absolutely get there.

Interesting stat I wouldn't have guessed: backup Pacers PG T.J. McConnell is currently 3rd in the NBA in steals per game.

Vucevic has been an all star in the past and that helps him. He is up to almost 24 pts a game to go with over 11 rebounds a night. In a fair world Vucevic and Sabonis should make it. Hayward has been over 21 pts a game most of the year and
he is now on a new team in Charlotte. He has a shot.

I noticed the steals stat about TJ McConnell and met to post about it. Amazing that a short white guy that comes off the bench is 3rd in the nba in steals and he does it in limited minutes off the bench. Again it goes against what we are always
told that whites are not fast, explosive and have stiff hips. A bunch of stereotype b.s. as always. TJ McConnell could easily be a starter for the Pacers. Wish Indiana would give him the chance but I doubt it will happen.

Nikola Vucevic with 30 pts, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot! He better be an East Coast All star!

Nikola Jokie with 16 pts, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his 7th triple double of the season already!

Luka Magic! :)

Luka Doncic with another game winnner! He has had so many in his short career so far. Doncic had 31 pts, 10 rebounds and 8 assists including the 3 pointer to win the game for the Mavs over the Celtics.

I watched the whole game.....Luka turned it on at the end.....Special stuff..
No Porzingas or Kleber, either......
Boban played a lot....How that big SOB isn’t in there 20+ minutes every game is beyond me...

I can't believe they don't play Boban more.
He's a great weapon, and almost no one can match up against his size.
Love seeing him play.

Danilo Gallinari with 38 points off the bench for the Atlanta Hawks.

Even though he is in his 30's now, Gallinari can score as good as anyone on the Hawks outside of Trae Young. Gallinari should still be starting. The guy has had a heck of a career but hopefully
with him coming off the bench he can play alot longer. I just wish he was on another team like the Mavs, Heat, or even the Pacers. Either way I'm a long time fan of Danilo Gallinari and I wish him well.

Sam Merrill getting playing time for the Bucks tonight. Terrible haircut, though. Same with TJ McConnell, not sure what they’re thinking.
