14 teams, 11 White quarterbacks. Including 6 slow, old, 36+ dinosaurs: Rivers, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, and Alex Smith. Then you have Tannehill, Trubisky, Josh Allen, Mayfield, and Goff. Only Mayfield is making his first playoff start. But, we’re supposed to be in the new era of affletic black quarterbacks. Maybe not.

Glad the old guard is still around and staying strong but need some fresh faces to step up and show that black qbs are not the way to build a winning franchise.

True... We have promising young faces in Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence and others in this years class.......As a Pittsburgh guy, I’d take Darnold, Wentz or if the Bears move on from Trubiski, I’d take him to replace old Ben in another year or two...
Those kids have been put through the ringer.....

There's also Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, and Baker Mayfield, and "middle-aged" David Carr, Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannehill and Jared Goff. Still lots of White QB talent in the league.

Brady is the oldest QB to compete in the playoffs, slightly older than George Blanda was back in '71. Blanda at 43 looked old enough to be present day 43 year old Brady's father. Soft lives have led to many adults looking younger than did previous generations.

Can’t just be me that’s really looking forward to see what the Bills can do right? I hold them as one of the top-4 favourites to win the SB now. Sad that Beasley won’t play today though
I sincerely hope that Goff (if he even starts?!) turns around and has a good game with only 9 fingers. There are few teams I loathe more than Seattle.
Can’t understand why they scheduled TB/TB vs Generic Sports Franchise as the later night game. The one that’s really, really interesting is the first one up if you ask me.

Beasley is active for the game, we'll see if he's healthy enough to play his usual role. . .

Have not watched much NFL this year but both appear to be starting a lot of whites. I counted 8 for Buffalo and 6 or 7 for the Colts.

I should add that even 7 or 8 whites is still just relatively white-friendly.

Indy has one of the few defenses that's half-decent so this could be a very tough opening match-up for the Bills

Official review of every other play during this last drive is annoying. I can’t believe the Colts defender jumped offside when everybody knew the Bills would take a timeout and kick the field goal.

lolol at the Colts player who jumped offsides when even the entire TV audience knew the Bills were trying to get them to do just that, with the intention of kicking a field goal rather than going for it on fourth down. First time I've seen that obvious ploy work in years.

Nice running by Allen, who may be the obvious best QB in the league next season with his blend of skill, size and athleticism.

Yea, good game so far.

Allen has not disappointed so far. 138 yards passing with a TD and another 43 with a touchdown on the ground. He’s also extended a lot of passing plays with his legs and taken zero sacks. As Don said, the Colts coal black defense is one of the few who are actually tough.

So, they apparently allowed 6,700 germ infested, super virus spreading human slaves to attend the game. Of course, safely masked and distanced. But, all the fans are in the lower bowl, and the upper seats are empty. Wouldn’t it make sense to spread the vermin throughout the entire stadium? Or, if they are adequately spread in the lower bowl, allow another group of contagious virus breathers in the upper deck? Never mind. Let’s just all keep playing these ridiculous nonsense Coviet Union games.

Allen is the Bills offense - it all runs through him. The running backs are average as is their rushing game. It makes his season all that more remarkable.
