The lack of creativity(due to a lack of white players) was very clear and I think Dier was their best player.

The only decent teams that England played were Belgium (twice) and Croatia. They lost them all. Nuff said...

Another thing that nobody seems to have picked up on, is the fact that Croatia were taken all the way to penalties by a Spain side on the wane, and by a Russian team that was fairly ordinary.

Yet they finished England off in extra-time, without too much fuss.

England will be lucky to be in the top 100 of the FIFA rankings in a decade or two.

But at least the team will represent 'modern England'. That's all that matters of course...

This whole third place game is silly, anyway. In the Olympics, yes, there's a need for it to determine who wins the bronze medal, but in the World Cup it's just unnecessary.
 
A good part of England’s 2018 campaign was that the white players were their best players - much like the NFL. Get the best white players then let the rest of the team get filled up by mostly black scrubs.

Just looking at their XI against Belgium:
Pickford - just about the best goalkeeper for the tournament. Hugely impressive.
Maguire - solid, scored the first goal against Sweden.
Stones - solid down back and scores a couple goals.
Jones and Dier - not much playing time. Dier scored in the shootout.
Trippier - definitely up for consideration in the team of the tournament. He’s white enough.
Then you get to the bad stuff...Loftus-Cheek, Delph, Rose and Sterling all did absolutely nothing for the tournament, especially Sterling.
Kane - golden boot says it all.

As for the bench blacks...Welbeck, Young, Walker and Lingard did nothing. Dele Alli was fine when he played, scoring the clincher against Sweden. The only black player to do something good for England in the tournament.

Wow! The Hock, I just did. Out of 20 or so inventors, Thomas Edison was the only white Man listed with the esteemed list! What a crock. Really? Do blacks need that much help in their promotion and intelligence? The answer is YES! F'n fraud brainwashing company Google. I never use them I use Bing.
 
Getting a bit nervous now, not getting my hopes up too much, just like I didn't when Croatia played England.

But Croatia can do it, they really have a chance to make history...

What a piece of skill there by Perisic! When he’s on, he’s an elite talent.
 
So France are winning because of an own goal and a contentious penalty. Croatia just need to get to half-time and regroup...
 
Croatia are getting plenty of scoring opportunities, but they aren’t putting their chances on target. they’ve dominated play and are looking strong, but France have made the most of their (unusual) scoring chances.

Croatia just need to keep doing what they’re doing, only be on target instead of miss, and (of course) stop hurting themselves on defense.
 
Croatia are still in it, they just have to be careful not to get caught out on the counter-attack.

France have been poor and very lucky...
 
Looked to me like Griezmann was diving before he was touched to get the free kick that led to the own goal. The ref seemed indecisive about the penalty, going back to the video to have another look. Croatia very unlucky.
