Wladimir Klitschko vs Tony Thompson II

This is a really stoopid fight. What has Thompson done to deserve a rematch?
 
I hope Thompson wears a hoodie into the ring. Wlad will think he looks suspicious and KO him in self defense.

I recall when Marvin Hagler was viewed as untouchable he gave a rematch to Mustafa Hamsho a fighter that he had destroyed a few years earlier. The difference was that Hamsho had beaten top contenders to earn his rematch. Thompson beat one club fighter and had a decent fight against Eddie Chambers canceled. Thompson should have been forced to fight another IBF top ten fighter to get this rematch. I guess this is some of the blow back from when you have cleaned out the division.......:thumbdown:
 
The betting odds for Klitschko-Mormeck were about 50-1 in favour of Klitschko. Im thinking this fight will carry similar betting odds.

Thompson gave a decent effort with Wlad the first time, surviving 11 rounds before getting caught and dropped. Id say this fight is easier for Wlad, Im expecting a mid round (5, 6, 7) KO win for Wlad.

Totally agreed. Then again, Thompson is more credible than Rahman getting a titleshot with Povetkin, that scenario is even more ridiculous.

Wlad has cleared out the division, its really that simple. Arreola, Helenius, Povetkin are 3 guys Id like to see Wlad fight but the **truth** is that Wlad has offered fights to them all at different times, and for reasons outside of his control it hasnt worked out.

Povetkin and Helenius both literally declined the offer to fight Wlad. They said they werent ready, and were unwilling to fight.

Its entirely improper to expect Wlad to fight guys who dont want to fight him or are unwilling to.

Povetkin has recently stated he feels ready for a Klitschko, and After Thompson, I do expect to see Wlad fight either Arreola or Povetkin.
 
Perhaps the German/Euro fight crowd has an insatiable urge to see their White hero destroy one african after another? Who are we at CF to disagree with that?!?!
 
I guess nobody who's sane wants to fight them.
