Leonard has had one good run from his own goal line and a great catch and run with the signature Leonard leap to get a first down. On the next play Chad Johnson gets the ball knocked out to end the drive

Welker with the touchdown catch on New England's opening drive!
smiley32.gif

also, Edelman had a catch earlier in the drive. he and Welker were on the field at the same time for several plays on the drive.

so far, Peyton Hillis hasn't played on offense for Denver. meanwhile, Moreno fumbles.

that is Moreno's second lost fumble in two weeks.Edited by: Jimmy Chitwood

Moreno is a joke. One play is a catch by Welker, the next by Edelman!

Now Denver uses 12 men and Wes still gets a first down!

I'm so happy to see Welker back. He is the most excting receiver in the whole nfl in my eyes. I love to watch him play. Hopefully Edelman will continue to be a intregal part of the Pats Offense as well. Go Pats.

It's disgusting how Peyton is being treated in Denver. He needs to get the hell out of that city. He will only be a human battering ram and special teams demon there. He has way too much talent to waste away. He should be a starting running back period!

i love how Pats see the potential in Edelman andpick him over Galloway. i mean, how often does that happen for rookie skill players in the NFL? white or even black, really. (unless it's black over a white vet, then it happens quite a lot)

My theory is that Belicheck is such a football genius that his opinion of a player isn't distorted by skin color and he's able to judge players solely on talent; or at least more so than other coaches. Plus he's a mean SOB who doesn't care what anybody thinks.

i agree Peyton Hillis needs to get out of Denver. It doesn't even seem like they are even using him as a fullback out there. Moreno has looked very mediocre so far, most rb's ypc in a game tend to go up after they get into a rhythm, his has gone down. 3.7 ypc at the moment

There were several short yardage situations they could have at least put Hillis out there for.Edited by: dwid

White linebacker Russell Allen of the Jaguars (shocking I know) is leading the team with 10 tackles so far. Also, in this game Matt Hasselbeck has returned from injury with 4 TD's so far. What an improvement over afflete Seneca Wallace.

it's your call guys, i never thought he's white. nose structure and dark eyes, i would put him down as a mix.

PS and freethinker, really? you really think he looks SO white that one can't look any whiter? really? c'mon man. just because he might be, doesn't mean he LOOKS it. i guess he looks whiter than AJ Hawk or Toby Gerhart...Edited by: backrow

Russell Allen looks white to me. The key feature to put this small debate to rest is to look at the texture of his hair. If its devoid of the frizzies and small waves, he is Ron Howard's cousin.

wow, what a throw by Schaub and actually i gotta give credit to Johnson here, he absolutely smashed some d-back and then rolled over another for a TD. not bad. i just want more of Kevin Walter, although Owen Daniels is getting tons of looks at least.
