Did you guys see that Zuffa bought out Pride. Now Dana is the boss of UFC and Pride. He'll probably start buying other organizations too. I wonder when Zuffa is going to have an Initial Public Offering (IPO). It sounds like they're profitable and growing.

Zuffa didnt buy PRIDE, the Fertitta Brothers did. They're going to keep PRIDE running as a seperate entitly known as PRIDE worldwide which they will run along with Zuffa. So Dana doesnt have any stock in PRIDE, but his partners in Zuffa the Fertitas do. It'll be interesting to see if this hampers the relationship, cuz Dana wants to bring the best PRIDE fighters to UFC, but the Fertitas know they wont get a return on their investment if all the PRIDE talent is sucked out.
That being the case, they're going to keep running PRIDE in Japan, only difference is now we'll be able to to see cross-promotional fights like Chuck vs Shogun/Wandy without any problems.

I suspect there will be several "dream fights" over the next few years. I'm looking forward to seeing these matchups!
