well the 100m has been a big bust, not one white kid advanced to the final. one Chinese kid did, so I routing for him. hopefully the 200m turns out better.
 
Blum had a strong opening round, but went bust in the semi. I'm rooting for the Chinese kid!!
 
Is Robert Crowther (long jump Australia) a white kid?

He's only 19 and has gone over 26'.

I feel that white sprinters just don't go into track in the same numbers as blacks and almost all white people tend to think blacks are faster.

I am considereing running track. Never did it before but I had the fastest 40 yarder on a semi- pro football team I joined.

I am wondering if the club I am going to join is going to be all black, at least all the sprinters.Edited by: Alpha Male
 
How old are you Alpha Male?Sprinting is a very excting sport to be involved in just like football.If you are serious about it,I really think that you will enjoy it.I've always felt that any sport where you are all by yourself is the most true form of sport.Whether it be boxing,tennis,wrestling,track or any other sport.Don't get discouraged if there are not alot of whites on the team.If that is your passion,stick with it.Maybe one of your friends might even want to try out also.Keep us posted on how your doing.

On the world junior champs,the girl from Bulgaria also won the 200 meters.I think she is going to be another Ivet Lalova.There was a white us 400 meter hurdles champion.Two european guys finished 1-2 in the finals of the 200 meters.Overall,Europe has been dominating most of the events.The future is looking really bright!
 
Nice result in the 400 metre hurdles for the US and white male sprinting in this country as a US white male won gold.
The first US sprint gold too(some track people don't consider this event a true sprint though).
 
Thanks for the reply white lightening. I am 23 years old and have always liked individual sports better. I was overweight and a late bloomer athleically in high school (I see this as a pattern for white males, they start puberty later than blacks). All that's changed really and I am pursuing sports I never thought I would try and doing well. I try to keep a limited mind to negative thoughts and stereotypes. Artur Noga, the 18 yr. old Pole, impressed me with a 13.23 win in the 110s. Is there a white American hurdler that can get anywhere near that?
 
That is probably faster than any white American in history, unless Richmond Flowers did an electronic timed 110 hurdles. I think Flowers was the last great/near great white American sprint hurdler.
 
Artur Noga set a new national junior record twice in the same World Junior Championships.He is a stud.Artur already said that he plans to come back to China in two years to take down X.Liung. He wants to break the world record and win a gold medal in doing so.You have to love his confidence.Poland has some really good young talent rising up.I wonder if Noga and Kuc are good friends being so close in age.Edited by: white lightning
 
The winner of the women's 100 and 200 meters was Tezdzhan Naimova out of Bulgaria the same country as speedster Ivet Lalova. It is important for whites to start winning at earlier ages. She blew away the field in the 200. Now a white women wins the junior championships in the sprinting. They should replay the video a thousand times on TV just to rearrange people's brains.
