White Morehouse Valedictorian

Pretty interesting article about Morehouse College's first white valedictorian...funny how anywhere else a black valedictorian is celebrated but here it seems he's met some criticism for being white.

I was bothered by that comment as well, Col. Reb. The writer gave that comment a free pass as if that comment didn't deserve little closer looking at. I do think it's funny that the white kid is the smartest student in the whole school.

Well, I have heard that Morehouse is admitting more than a few white people now. Still not many, but they probably didn't want to be branded as a complete segregationist school. I'm sure some of the black folk were pretty mad about a white boy taking the spotlight as the smartest at the school. How long will this media story last?

I'll tell you one thing, definitely not as long as a story about a black Valedictorian at Harvard or Princeton would.
