Ed Hinkel was the star of the game for Iowa, leading the #24 ranked team to a 23-13 win over Illinois. Ed went 5/108/2. Both of his TD catches were for 19 yards. He is having a really nice season.

Connecticut QBDan Orlovsky went 40/52/446/3 in a losing effort against Syracuse. Connecticut has played well in its first season in the Big East and has a lot of white starters on offense.

You can add David Anderson with 7 catches for 124 yards!
Kyle Eckel also had a huge game with 23 rushes for
143 yards in a Navy victory.

Florida, Florida State and Miami all lost today for the first time since 1978. Given how influential all three programs have been in instituting and popularizingthe caste system at the I-A level, I say hallelujah!

I agree Don.You could even ask Kevin Harris the senior
h.s. running back out of Florida who they have ignored.
Alot of big games this week.T. Haverty had 8 catches for
98 yards.Bill Flowers had 2 catches for 70 yards and
a touchdown.On the year,Haverty has 639 yards receiving
and TJ Acree has 600 yards even.Don't forget Mike Haas
with 891 yards and Anderson with 821 yards! There are alot
of other great receivers out there too.I think Collie
from BYU is going to be special.Haas and Anderson could
be better than Stokely at the next level and that is
saying alot!
